I am @rezaul-420 from 🇧🇩Bangladesh

Hope everybody is doing well. By the grace of God, you are all well. I'm much better. First of all I would like to thank @sofian88 brother for organizing such a beautiful competition. Because competition can bring out everyone's talent. Today I will discuss two aspects of my village's potential: rivers and agriculture. Hope you like it.

Rivers and agricultural work

Bangladesh is a riverine country. There are more than three and a half thousand small and big rivers in Bangladesh. And based on this river, the origin of agriculture has increased. Every year the inundation of the river creates a lot of alluvial soil from which the crops are very good. The main occupation of the people of our village is agriculture. In addition to agricultural work, through various government incentives, other institutions has been established. Agriculture contributes 18.6% to Bangladesh's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). About 40% of the country's population is engaged in agriculture.

However, although our country is very developed, it is still very dependent on agriculture. And not only we get alluvium from this river but crops are also produced here. Moreover, many human resources have been created based on this river. Because many fishermen earn their living by catching fish here. Almost every country in the world has a river or sea. They depend on fishing there for their livelihood. And the main work of food preservation or vegetable production in every country is agriculture.

I heard from the elders of our area that once there was a lot of fish in the river. But now the rivers are getting damaged due to human activities. The rest have almost passed into the hands of various occupiers. And because of all these, river erosion has been created. As a result, various agricultural lands are being destroyed due to river erosion. But our country is mostly dependent on agriculture. And because of these various activities, the river is behind. Because the crops are irrigated by taking water from the river.
