Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W1: Dream Couple”

Hello everyone how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you are all enjoying your day, I welcome you all to this week engagement challenge S9-W1 hosted by the steem for betterlife official community account.

INTRODUCTION

In my today's entry I will be sharing with you guys based on the topic given which is "Dream Couple" so I will be sharing with you guys some things about my current partner, the heroic story about how we met, the obstacles etc.

In life to me I think that the most satisfying thing is to love someone and also get the same or more love in return and love is the only thing I think is worth fighting for.

And when it comes to that word dream couple a lot of people in life ends up being in a wrong relationship and remain unhappy for the rest of their life while some are fortunate enough to find their soulmate.

IS YOUR CURRENT PARTNER YOUR CHOICE AND IDEAL PARTNER? HOW DID YOU STRUGGLE TO GET IT? TELL US ABOUT YOUR HEROIC STRUGGLE.

About my current partner hmmm, I won't say much since we just started dating some few months back and indeed she is my choice and ideal partner because she has all the amazing qualities a guy would need from a girl, she's always very patience, calm, comforting, good-looking, beautiful, kind, etc.

HOW WE MET

Let's just say that it was love at first sight because I have never for once seen her before but one day it was last year November that we met for the first time, she looked at me and I looked at her but I was unable to approach her because of the fear of rejection.

But thank God that her male cousin was my friend so I called her cousin who is a guy, and asked him somethings about her which he told me some of the things I needed to know.

Then I told him to go and collect her number for me both she refused and told her cousin that she doesn't give her number to strangers, so I then gave her cousin my number on a piece of paper and told him that I say that she should call me.

After two days to my greatest suprise I received a call from a strange number and when I picked up I didn't know that it was her but she tried to explain herself to me and I was very surprised and didn't even know what to say.

So as time goes by we became good friends and from there we fell in love with eachother and that's how it started.

WHAT ARE THE OBSTACLES YOU FACED WHEN YOU WANTED TO GET MARRIED, OR WHY HAVEN'T YOU GOTTEN MARRIED YET?

Why I have not yet gotten married to her is that it's because we are still very young and she just finished her secondary school last year, in fact we are just starting life so it wouldn't be wise to jump into marriage at least not yet.

WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR YOUR IDEAL PARTNER?

Back then when I was a kid I had so many criteria that I expected a girl to attend before I would consider such a person to be my partner, buy as I grow up I later realised that no one is perfect and that too much perfection would be very boring.

But now some of the criteria for my ideal partner are;

• Simple and honest
• Understanding
• Contented etc.

SIMPLE AND HONEST

My current partner like I said earlier has all the amazing features you would need from a girl, she has this simple life that makes you to be able to understand her she is so honest and straight forward to me she is the best girl in the whole world.

UNDERSTANDING

Even though sometimes I'd always screw up and I do things that I shouldn't do but instead of her to avoid me or get angry with me, she will force herself to understand the situation and try to comfort.

CONTENTMENT

She is the most contented girl I have ever met she isn't attracted to flashy things and doesn't even care about what people thinks about me rather all she does is to love me no matter what.

DO YOU PRIORITIZE BEAUTY OR COMFORT IN COMMUNICATION? WHY?

Proper communication is the key to the healthy live of any relationship and in my relationship I really prioritize comfort in communication because it is with communication that we will be able to settle our differences and any relationship that lacks communication will tend to fade away slowly.

To further explain it, communication helps partners to understand and able to endure each others mistakes so as to move forward a build a beautiful family.

WHAT IS YOUR MEASURE OF HAPPINESS WHEN YOU GET MARRIED?

The word marriage does not really qauranteed happiness because I used to see that in some relationships that the girls will try as much as the can to force the guy to come for marriage which is very bad.

So for me since for now I'm only in a relationship but I'm not yet married but what I think would be my measures of happiness when I get married are tolerance, respect and faithfulness.

The above mentioned three words are the only thing that could promote happiness in any given relationship because once your partner has respect for he or she will be able to tolerate your mistakes and will also remain faithful to you because he or she wouldn't want to hurt your feelings.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT EARLY MARRIAGE OR OLDER MARRIAGE?

When it comes to marriage it doesn't matter if it comes early or late what really matters is the fact that you are with the right person and you are happy, because just like Aristotle said "That a good life for a man is the life of happiness" .

Therefore it doesn't really matter if the marriage comes early or late all that really matters is the fact that you and your partner are happy with each other.

CONCLUSION

Marriage is not something we should rush ourselves into we should always try and excercise patience and if we are still single we should wait for the right time to avoid rushing into a relationship that wasn't meant for us thereby remaining unhappy for the rest of our lives.
