INTRODUCTION

So in my post today I will be sharing with you guys some of the important role that we have to play as humans in other to contribute to the well being of our environment. But first of all let us understand what we mean by the word environment.

ENVIRONMENT

As we all know that the World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year. So therefore Environment can be defined as the physical surrounding of man be it living or nonliving things which includes animals, plants, trees, rivers, etc which indicates that being the inhabitants of this environment instead of destroying it we should try and do things that will help sustain the life of our environment and the world at large.

HOW HUMAN DAMAGE TO THE ENVIRONMENT

In today's world 🌍 where technology has taken over and industrialization we humans has created machines that burns fuels. So the fuels this machine burns causes a release of carbon monoxide to the atmosphere and it pollute the air.

And human also damage the environment through what we call deforestation which can be defined as the actions taken by man in the clearing of forested environment to build houses and industries. which has greatly contributed in the reduction level of oxygen supply in our environment.

THE IMPORTANT OF PRESERVING THE ENVIRONMENT

Here I will be listing the importance of preserving our environment.

•If we stop deforestation and encourage afforestation it will help increase the supply rate of oxygen and timber for building of houses
•building industries far from residential areas will reduce the level of air pollution there by making the residential areas save for man to live in.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN THE EFFORT TO SAVE THE EARTH

What I have done in other to save the life of our environment are very many but here I will only least some of them.

The number one thing which I so much like doing to ensure a save and healthy environment is sweeping and clearing of trashes in our environment by gathering them one place burn them instead of throwing them into the bush, in other to maintain a good personal hygiene and also build a healthy environment.

And another important thing I like doing in other to save our environment is I so much like to engage in the planting of more and more trees in our environment so as to encourage more green life and thus increase more oxygen supply in the environment and how I do it is very simple I plant trees and plants anywhere I see space in my environment

WHAT IS THE FORM OF ATTENTION FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND THE COMMUNITY AROUND YOU?

In our country Nigeria it is already indicated in the constitution that every last Saturday of every month should be a nation wide sanitation which has been observed and the state and our community heads have ensured that those policies have been implemented and that all the citizens engaged in the national sanitation by cleaning and clearing the environment.

And also there are registered staff who are recognized by the government that are responsible for sweeping and keeping both the federal and state roads clean. That shows you the kind of attention that our government pays in keeping the environment clean and tidy.

CONCLUSION

Saving the world should be made a top priority by us human by starting with our immediate environment and from the smallest places by cleaning, clearing, washing, and planting more trees. So as to build a healed, healthy and beautiful world for our future generations.
