STEEM Investing Contest 10th Edition || Power Up 500+ STEEM and Reached 1,197 SP || 25% of the reward to steem.amal
Doing power up is a great thing on the Steemit platform, has it won't only gives you more resources and power, it will also increase your curation reward. The more Steem Power you have the more your voting power, and the more voting power the more your curation rewards.
Today I did a power up of 500.916 STEEM, I will illustrate how the power up was done, I will show the step one by one with relevant screenshoots.
Step: Navigate to my wallet, select the small arrow beside STEEM and click on Power Up
Step 2: Enter the amount of STEEM you want to Power up, since I planned to power up all my STEEM I clicked on the Steem and everything reflected (500.916) and I click on Power Up to continue
Step 3: Signed in with my private active key and click on Sign In to confirm and approve the power up
The Power Up was successful, and now my Steem power (SP) has increased from 697.968 SP to 1,198.884 SP, this will increase my voting power automatically increasing my curation rewards.
Note I plan to delegate some of my Steem Power, but it failed due to low amount of Mana. But I'm waiting for my Mana to recharged back then I try it again.

Conclusion
Power up is a good thing has it helps us to earn better curation rewards, it also increases our resources and power on the platform.
