Diary Game 1st December 2024|| Gratitude brings increase.

Welcome to my diary Game
Today is the 1st day of December and I'm so glad to be seeing this last month.
Yesterday I took out some time to reflect on a few blessings God has showered me with since the beginning of the month.
You know, the reason a lot of people are ungrateful and complain is because they don't count their blessings.
Amongst a few of the blessings I could remember are these

• The gift of life
• Good health
• A healthy family
• Provisions, protections and sustenance.

Did you notice I didn't mention money???. Yes. A lot of people feel that they are blessed only when they have enough finances in their account to meet their needs. While having enough Money is good, but it is a lesser blessing as one can havel lots of blessings but is in the hospital and can't enjoy their money. The real blessings of life are mostly intangible and can't be touched with the human hands. Anyways, let's move on.

After saying all these, you'd know that I took quality time to thank my maker this morning. The light supply we've been having since yesterday hasn't been sufficient to pump water into our tank so I immediately went out to look for water. Luckily I found water close by, I got some, bathed and was on my way to church as i didn't want to be late.

Service was super amazing in both of our services. We prayed, sang, heard God's word and it was powerful. You could sense the atmosphere of gratitude as everyone present was so greatful to God to see the last month of the year.
We stepped into the word session and the rapt attention of those in service caught my attention. Our man of God preached on the topic " WHY PEOPLE END UP POOR IN LIFE"

He told us that what makes us a success is not that we have so much money but that we do what we love doing.

He outlined the 5 root causes of poverty for us and told us that we attract what has first possessed our mind in form of thoughts. He said that sometimes, God finds it hard to work with people because they are not thinking the way he is thinking.
He said that if you think you don't deserve something good then you really don't.

We then moved on to practical steps to overcome poverty. The first being Gratitude.
A man who Is greatful for what he has is a strong candidate for promotion.

After the service we had a lengthy leaders meeting where we discussed a series of topics and put things in place as my pastor had not been around for a while due to other ministerial engagements he had. A lot of people spoke with varying opinions on a lot of issues.

Thankful for a friend who got some drinks available.

Once the meeting was wrapped up around 5pm, I headed home ate and slept. I woke up around some minutes past 9pm and got some light snacks to eat after which I opened my social media handles and got some work done.
