I've been powering up all of my earnings for the past few months. I've explained why I'm doing this, which includes increasing my stake and hitting the 5,000SP goal. I've been participating in several power-up initiatives, and today I'll be participating in the power-up competition run by @irawandedy.

Increasing the stake and influence of our account means powering up of our liquid Steem and it offers several benefits that are beneficial to us and even other users, especially new users. We all know that in order to earn money on Steemit, we must cast votes. These votes are cast using SP, and the more SP you have, the more valuable your upvotes are. And in order to gain SP, we must power up our liquid steem, which is what the term "power up" refers to.

Let's get into this contest's specifics because it was necessary. To demonstrate proof, I've included a screenshot of my wallet both before and after it was powered on.

I made a power up, clicked all of my liquid Steem, signed in with my active key, and the Blockchain confirmed and approved the power up.
