Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W6 | THE END..... | My Story of getting Ehsaas Scholarship

It was about 2020 when the corona virus was at its peak and I wanted to take admission in the university but due to the destruction of the corona virus I had no money. Due to the continuous closure of business, my father suffered a lot in his business. Seeing all these things, I could not ask my father for fee as I knew he was very worried.

My name was in the merit list of the university but I didn't have the admission fee. I thought of taking money from a friend and on my request, my friend gave me the fee money. Now I was very happy because I got the fee money. I went to the university and there I got my admission. A few days after admission, our university opened and one or two classes a week started.

One day our teacher came to our class and asked us to apply for Ehsaas scholarship. I was very happy to hear this because at that time I had no money and wanted to get money for my university expenses. It was very important for me to get the scholarship because I had to paid the loan I had taken from my friend for the fee. But the problem was that there was only 168 seats for Ehsaas scholarship for 30,000 students.

I did not expect that I would succeed but I applied with the name of God and left everything to God because He knew the state of my heart and how troubled I was at that time. Out of 30,000 students, it was very difficult for me to get a scholarship. After applying, I prayed to God every day because if I didn't get the scholarship then, I might have dropped out of university.

The first criteria was 80 marks and then there was an interview by the university. I had 80% marks but I was nervous for the interview. Then I had an interview and after a few days I got to know that I had cleared the interview. Now I had to clear another interview which was conducted by HEC (Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan. A few days later, I gave this interview too, but the result was yet to come.

I kept praying to God everyday and I was beyond happy when the CR of my class told me that you have been selected for the scholarship. I went to my university and got my scholarship check which was around 1 lakh Pkr and it was a huge amount. I returned the loan to my friend and thanked him. I am also very grateful to my God who supported me in such a difficult time and made me successful even though I did not expect and indeed He is God.

And that was the end of my story. No matter how difficult the path may be, if your aim is good and you have faith in God, you will surely succeed.
