RE: Need Only 17 Steem to reach 1000 SP | #Club5050 #Club75

Okay, let me get my act together. This is just a fun project so no deadline or rush. You won't be doing any articles probably for a few years, if any. We are just going to do the research first. Start marking down your time spent on this project and I will pay you per week or month some amount with steem. Look for this document and see if you can read or understand it: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/51761051_The_Network_of_Global_Corporate_Control

We will be researching any work of similar nature but much more recent/updated. Have fun. The goal is to find out who is most influential having ownership control or share certificate voting rights even if through proxy. I hope you enjoy this type of tasks. Don't spend more than 4-8 hours per week. Good luck and most importantly have fun!

Hi. Thanks for the assignment. This is the first time I am facing this type of task. The detailed explanation and methods are given on the document, so, it will be easier for me to understand but I have to go through it and invest some time. I will do it.

I have some points regarding this task.

  1. How do I represent the assignment to you?
  2. There should be proof that I have done the research and how you are expecting it.

You will update me here. Just like your above comment. If you find documents similar in scope as the link I provided, a url link should work. If not, I can give you an email address when needed. Also, later we can even try to reach out to the authors and ask their advice on updated versions and who else is doing similar etc. Thanks in advance.

Will there be any other assignment this week? 🙂

Sure, report to me how many hours spent learning reading over corporate capture document last week so I can pay you in steem. This week you could use a few different search engines like google and duck duck to find other similar documents. I believe the Rand Corporation think tank does a summary of global control or corporate structures. They may do smaller groups like: Pharma, Oil & Gas, Food and/or Finance etc. Spend a week on each (5 weeks). A week being the 4+ hour week thing.

The mathematical terms of the last document were a little critical for me but I caught up. It didn't take much time, not more than 5 or 6 hours.

But aren't the Rand corporations one kind of non-profit organization? They normally help the corporate world to improve the policies and decision-making like third-party intelligence. They are not the actual owner or stockholders.

I understand you and I will have a language barrier/problem/challenge so lets keep small talk out of our communications if possible. Do ask important questions though. Yes, the Rand Corp is a non profit and yes they pretend/sometimes help with decision-making like third-party intelligence. Anyway, as I said earlier "I believe the Rand Corporation (think tank) does a summary of global control or corporate structures." they probably did it to help the world improve the policies etc... So try to dig deep into their past work and find it (research). They probably do an update every two or so years. Also, maybe reach out to the Swiss Institute of Technology and see if they have an update of the document you have reviewed that I sent link to already. Have fun and no rush. So no need to chat over small details.

Greetings. Hi. I was sick as I was infected by COVID-19 Omicron Variant, cold & fever. But I have managed to go through the research work. I have searched through Rand Corporation & Swiss Institute of Technology . As I have looked for the topic 'Pharma Economy' but couldn't find any suitable research document. That's why I have looked through google and found a document in International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Association.

The research paper is about "The Global Economic Impact of the Pharmaceutical Industry" & the document is link here. I was a bit confused during the research document selection and searched a lot throughout the internet. It took 6/7 hours this week.

The research is thoroughly presented the economic activities of the global pharmaceutical industries and their contribution to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal-8 which is to promote economic growth, employment, and work for all.

I am so proud of my country, Bangladesh that although it is has a small geographical area and overpopulation, it has been listed in this research. According to the data of 2017, my country has contributed 0.31% to the Global GDP and 2.01% to global employment.

The global pharmaceutical company's impact on the global economy is three types these are direct effect, indirect effect, and induced effect. The summation of these three effects is called Total Economic Effect and the summation of indirect and induced effect is called the Spillover Effect. Besides these the global pharmaceutical companies also have global value-added effects and employment effects.

The calculation of the effects has been done through an equilibrium equation and the impact result is based on multiregional input-output data. The result of employment effects is based on the persons' engagement.

Moreover, in the case of computing multiplies, there are two ways, one is using the ratio of the direct, indirect, and induced effects, and another is based on the Keynesian multiplier which is a theory that states the economy will flourish the more the government spends.

Thanks for the research. I am only interested in the largest companies. I want research docs on what are their company names how big and who are the board of directors. I don't care how they affect the world or economy. Just who they are. The largest in every industry i.e.; pharma, media, oil, banking and financial holding companies even if their name is a numbered company. Like Blackrock, Statestreet, Vanguard etc...

First, I express my heartfelt gratitude towards you and thank you so much for providing me with such a great opportunity. I have gone through it according to your instruction. I have got plenty of time as my B.S.S. (Hons) Part-2 exam is already finished. This didn't take much time to understand the document that you have sent me.

I enjoyed this task. Our objective was to evaluate who is most influential in having ownership control or the share certificate voting rights even if through proxy.

We all know that Transnational Corporations have domination power across the Global Economy. All of them are connected via direct or indirect ownership like a web spreading all over the globe.

The research paper that we are going through is to uncover the structure of corporate control. And the hypothesis has been implemented through the network topology and it reveals a bow-tie structure during the statistical analysis.

Inside the bow-tie structure, the central core holds the maximum controlling power of the ownership control. This core is consists of top holders who referred to as economic 'super entities'.

So, the top holders are in the position of ownership control via formal or informal negotiations.
