RE: Need Only 17 Steem to reach 1000 SP | #Club5050 #Club75
Thanks for the research. I am only interested in the largest companies. I want research docs on what are their company names how big and who are the board of directors. I don't care how they affect the world or economy. Just who they are. The largest in every industry i.e.; pharma, media, oil, banking and financial holding companies even if their name is a numbered company. Like Blackrock, Statestreet, Vanguard etc...
Hi. The research work for this week-03 was Vanguard economic and market outlook one of the Vanguard's research papers. I have taken the document from Vanguard official website.
The research paper has conducted by Vanguard Investment Strategy Group. It contains different models and hypothetical investment outcomes based on Vanguard’s annual economic and market outlook for 2021 for key economies around the globe.
Not interested in any investment opinions. I want a list of who owns who of the biggest companies. I do not care of their success, past or future. Dig deep at the Rand Corporation for their research on topic. Reach out to the Swiss Institute of Technology and see if they have an update report. Email the three pHD's that wrote the report I pointed you to: "The Network of Global Corporate Control" authored by - Stefania Vitali, James B. Glattfelder, and Stefano Battiston. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3202517/
How many hours did you spend on this?
Not too long 5/6 hours in the whole week.
I have a lot of language barriers as English is not my native language. But I am trying my best to communicate with you. I am facing a bit of difficulty in selecting the right document accordingly to your demand.
Will it be okay if I submit you 4/5 documents before starting the research papers analysis and you will select the document?
You can put links here when you find documents I may like. I don't need any companies opinion on performance or trends. I want owner names of the board directors (President, CEO, Vice Pres. etc.) and size of company in assets, sales, market capitalization. The biggest companies first - documents with multiple companies summarized. We are not looking for investment advice we are seeing who owns what.
This is the type of thing you should find: https://www.bvdinfo.com/en-us/our-products/data/international/orbis
Ask your teacher professor if they know any research on this topic from other venues?
Maybe the above link is where we do our research in if current real time data is stored there for our attention.
I will ask my professor about this. I will also look for the documents.
The analytics company that you mentioned, do I have to register there for access to their data? I didn't find any document there.
You are the researcher. Ask them.
Hi. Greetings. I have tried to access BDVinfo and signed up, I got an email that they will be in touch shortly but I haven't received any response from them.
It's telling me to contact the nearest office but there is no office in my country. That's why I could get any documents from here.
I went through a deep search at the Swiss Institute of Technology and the Researchgate, found an additional document related to the first document that you have provided me earlier. This document is published by the same researchers as the first one, Stefania Vitali and Stefano Battiston, focusing on the ownership network.
The document is here: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/234108901_The_Community_Structure_of_the_Global_Corporate_Network.
The PDF file link: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/234108901_The_Community_Structure_of_the_Global_Corporate_Network
This research paper is a deep-down investigation of the community structure of the global corporate network and the network of ownership among transnational corporations.
The network is obtained from a large database of corporate information with a snowball procedure that starts from a list of about 43 thousand transnational corporations and recursively explores all the incoming and outgoing ownership relations. Through this, it has been found that the organization in communities is pronounced and cannot be explained by randomness.
It took more than 7 hours for me to cover the whole document with wast explanation and statistical calculation. It is a bit difficult for my current lever but I understood all the procedures.
Thanks. you are getting closer. No need reading the documents you find besides the abstract or short summary. See if you can find this document.
See if you can find the names of board of directors for Blackrock and Vanguard and their bio's.
Hi. I found the video document of your screenshot. It's the 'Day 2 Session of the Grand Jury Proceeding the Court of Public Opinion: Historical Background'
I have confusion about the names of the board of directors that is it only the names of the directors who are participating in the Grand Jury or all the directors of Blackrock and Vanguard?
Board of Directors of Blackrock and their bios: https://ir.blackrock.com/governance/board-of-directors/default.aspx
Board of Directors of Blackrock and their bios: https://corporate.vanguard.com/content/corporatesite/us/en/corp/who-we-are/sets-us-apart/our-management-team.html
I mention nothing about the board of directors of the Grand Jury. When I mention board of directors it will always apply in a corporate only setting. A jury is not a corporation.
The other two links worked. These directors look like small players.
Do try and find that 101 companies that control mining article referred to by me above in this string of notes.
I have found the 101 companies that control mining article referred to by you above in this string of notes. Here is the research PDF file: https://www.waronwant.org/sites/default/files/TheNewColonialism.pdf
The list of companies is presented in the annex to the above document and the key players in each commodity sector are also highlighted.
Thanks. You should make a file folder with two sub folders at this time. One for docs and one for links. Title the files with detail. I don't need to see these until requested and could be never.
