#burnsteem25 Campaign Contest: The Measure of my Advocacy and Participation in the Initiative over time
Introduction
It's a great pleasure to be participating in a contest in the Steem for Betterlife Community after a long break of publishing here. For today, I will be joining the contest hosted by @irawandedy as regards users' support for the #burnsteem25 campaign since its inception. In this piece, I will be sharing my experience as regards being a supporter of the program and as an advocate.

Advocacy for BurnSteem25
Over the last few months since the inception of the #burnsteem25 program, I have actively been a part of it by enlightening my community to take part having properly understood the purpose and the result such a program is aimed at. Burning of tokens is not a new program in the crypto ecosystem, many projects do this often, an example is the popular Binance quarterly burn and many others out there.
The concept of burning is neither new in the Steem ecosystem, it has been there for a long and it has only been revisited for a healthy Steem economy. As we all know, the burning of tokens reduces the circulation of such assets to give it enhanced value in the market as it tends toward scarcity.
In addiction, I have encouraged a few friends to join the initiative when it kicks started, a few users at the beginning thought the assets is going to one user but enlightened them that we are sharing beneficiaries to an eater address and anything that enters is completely destroyed. I have written a guide to that effect, you can also read it below.
It's also necessary to teach the new users coming into the ecosystem some of these initiatives from the onset such that they can be part of it from the beginning by contributing their quota to the growth of the ecosystem. I created a guide for newbies some days ago and I have adequately included the initiative in the guide.
My Participation in the Initiative
I have not only been an advocate of the burn steem initiative but also an active participant as such I hardly have an article passed away without burning some of my rewards in the quest to help the economy of Steem in the little way I can.
To measure my participation in the initiative, I have considered the last 56 articles I had created between June 1st till now (excluding this article I am currently writing). Out of the total articles created within this section, I have adequately supported the burning of Steem by sharing 25% of rewards to @null on 50 articles while only 6 articles haven't been used to support the initiative.

In essence, 89% of the articles I have created between June 1st and Aug 16th are articles that have been utilized to support the #burnsteem25 initiative. You can verify the claims from steemworld, I have set time aside to properly ensure I didn't miss anything in the process. I will be showing some of my recent articles that have been utilized to support the initiative.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I have been an advocate and participant of the #burnsteem25 initiative since its inception which has enabled me to achieve 89% throughput of articles that have been utilized to support the initiative between June 1st till now (note that I have been involved in the program before June, I have only considered June till present).
I'm working towards improved throughputs in the next few weeks (all my articles would be used to support the initiative). At this point, I'd encourage more users to join the initiative. I only came to learn of the burnstem25 project about a week ago, and I have given it a trial myself even as the encouragement was lacking, but I still hope to continue supporting every good project to take steem to the next level as together we can.
It's quite surprising that you have just learned about #burnsteem25 recently. One of the best ways to open yourself to opportunity is consistency regardless of anything.
