WORLD SMILE PROJECT OFFICIAL REPORT: PROJECT MANAGEMENT UPDATE

World Smile Project is implementing 2 programs, as you have known that one program is the Philippines responding to Typhoon Odette on Mactan Island. The second one is the public water and sanitation system in Aceh, which this program is under preparation.

Base on the World Smile Project Program Evaluation and Budgetting official meeting that was held on December 27th, in Lhokseumawe, we have decided to respond to the Typhoon Emergency in the Philippines and 2 programs in Indonesia, other than Indonesia, @mariana4ve is actively initiating new programs of the world smile project.

All World Smile Project Indonesian members were discussing together for the program implementation

The minute meetings are as below:

1. The World Smile Emergency Response must be taken accordingly to support Philippinian fellow steemian and will recruit @bien as the World Smile Project Representative in place to take charge of the program implementation.

2. Allocate 150 or as needed based on the discussion result with Bien as for the situation update

3. Food program will be implemented when the budget and representative is available in the Philippines, with the second budget allocated budget. Initially, the budget for the Public Food Service is 150 SBD for 3 weeks. The second stage is based on the improvement of the budget available at the moment of response.

4. Public latrine will be constructed soonest possible and the BoQ and designed Shop Drawing has been provided by @klen.civil and @sofian88

5. Total allocated budget for Public Latrine and water sanitation systems that have been plotted was IDR 62,000,000 or equivalent to 1000 SBD as the SBD's recent price.

6. For the first construction of the public latrine and water sanitation system Wolrdsmile will cash out 300 SBD as per financial risk analysis published by @irawandedy

7. For organic sustainable food World Smile has allocated about IDR 16,000,000 and the program will be launched accordingly when the latrine construction reaches about 30%.

8. Housing rehabilitation program will be considered as a listed program according to the available budget.

9. the International program will be coordinated with the representative in the country of implementation

Program implementation update in Philippine

The emergency response to Typhoon is ongoing with 200 SBD transferred to @bien to buy roof sheets as the most important thing at the moment. The report will be produced by @bien accordingly. Recently he managed to swap 200 SBD into 2,374.558 STEEM. Bien has managed to get 186 roof sheets and will distribute them accordingly

Public Latrine and Water Sanitation System In Aceh

World Smile Project Indonesian Team has conducted a verification survey and measured the location of the latrine and the place is appropriate to construct such the water and sanitation system. The community in the area hopes that World Smile Project will be able to support them as it is a very important utility for the public facilities.

For such matter, @klen.civil and @sofian88 has built the BoQ and the building design as necessary, the BoQ and the design as can be seen below:

Risk management analysis as an important part of the program has been published by @irawandedy as you can see the main point as below:

1. Risk identification; It is the main point when we need to mitigate the risk we need to identify where and when it comes to the project front door.

2. Coordinate the possible project risk; It is the part of the analysis, coordination in advance about all possible risks that would occur is part of the management system.

3. Development of the Priority Scale; This part is to underline a few important points of the project that need to be implemented, the benefit and urgency of the project will be considered accordingly to achieve the best goals and maximum outcome of the project

4. Risk mitigation management and evaluation; As every project will have positive and negative impacts, the world smile project also has its own risk. A mitigation Risk Plan is needed before the project is carried out by setting a set of management control and evaluation regularly, it is includes but not limited to evaluating the use of the fund and project priority.
