Meetup Global Aceh 15 September 2024: Official Announcement

50% of the payout will be donated to @steemcoffee88 for meetup event

The Indonesian Steem Representative has planned to initiate a Global Meetup which will be held in Aceh in September 2024. The initiator team and community representatives have held 2 meetings at SteemCoffee Blang Peuriya Gudong to shape the Meetup Commitee and prepare the event accordingly. It can be seen in the photo below:

The first meeting was held on July 20, 2024, attended by @sofian88, @heriadi, @irawandady, @el-nailul. This first meeting concluded that the formation of the committee and the form of activities would be carried out in the next meeting on July 25, 2024.

Following the agreement at the inaugural meeting, the second meeting was held to form the global meetup committee on July 25, 2024, at 16:00.

This meeting was led by @el-nailul with the following discussions:

• The Steering Committee for implementing this meetup are; el-nailul, heriadi, Irawandedy, Sofian88.
• The organizing committee is all Steeem Representatives who are currently in Aceh/Indonesia.
• This committee will also be assisted by active steemians and community representatives in Aceh/Indonesia
• The meetup will be held on September 15, 2024, and this schedule will be evaluated accordingly in the next meeting if any important considerations.

Meetup theme: Strengthening friendship between fellow steemians in Indonesia and globally

Main Activity of the Global Meetup:

• Gathering and talent show
• Account Protection and security awareness
• Writing and Photography tricks and tips
• Steem promo discussion
• Q&A on tips for success on steemit

Meetup funds:

Funding of the meetup mainly from the payout of steemians using the special hashtag #meetup25pc and setting a reward of 25% to the @steemcoffee88 account. In addition, there are also contributions from participants and Steem Representatives as well as community leaders. The donations in the form of liquid steem or fiat money to the Bank Account of Sofian88 (the account number will be announced in the WhatsApp group for participant registration).

The current funding shortfall for the global meetup is 13,900,000 or 4,633 steem (exchange rate 3000/steem).

The meetup event will be implemented as a gathering of steemians in Indonesia and will be enlivened by talent performances by the steemians who attend and share their experiences. This event is also planned to be held as a live event on Instagram (Steem Indonesia's official Instagram). In addition, this meetup also invites steemians around the world to join virtually with the link that will be shared.

It is hoped that this meetup will attract more people to join the platform and create familiarity between fellow steemians who attend the event both offline and online. The mechanism of inviting the steemians around the world will be discussed accordingly, but most likely we will use Microsoft Net Meeting.

Hopefully, this meetup event will be per expectations and be successfully implemented.
