Contest of Local Culture and Traditions || Eggon culture and tradition.

Hi guys, welcome to another 3rd day of this brand new week, I am excited and grateful to be among the living. Thanks to this amazing community of steem for a better life, and for bringing up such a contest with a lively and educating topic. Keep reading down to the end as you read to know about my culture and tradition.

Eggon is one of the tribes in nasarawa state, Nigeria. Eggon people are located in the north-central part of the country. Eggon people speak and understand Hausa because most Hausas are residing in the north-central part of Nigeria. Eggon people are great people, they are hardworking and educational wise, and they are sound. In the whole of nasarawa state, this set of people is the most amazing because they so much honor and respect their culture and tradition.

Culture is the way people live their lives. It could be the food they eat, the way they dance, or the rules that govern their culture that makes a particular culture different.

Every individual has traditions and way of life which is generally referred to as their culture. Eggon is my culture therefore we have our:

Every gender has a way of greeting especially the elders or parents. The females greet with their knees slightly bent while the male postgraduate.

We also have our unique dance and this is done by bending a little and taking a step after another as the beating goes on. We also have special traditional dancers.

Looking at the food above, consist of black seeds, palm oil, and beans. There is no ingredient used in cooking the food other than the ones I have mentioned without the use of seasoning cubes and that is why it is traditional☺

Some people allow civilization to swallow their pride which is their culture and tradition, but for eggon people, it is gonna be hard because we the children(young shall grow)are been baptized and taught the needful from childbirth.
