Greatings to Steemit team and everyone,

I am excited to apply for the Community Curator position for February 2023 as well, with the latest announcement of the team. Working as a community curator over the past 3 months has been an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience for me. I have had the privilege of discovering and curating a diverse range of high-quality content from all over the world.

I am eager to continue in this role for the upcoming month, as I am passionate about helping to build and maintain a positive, engaging, atmosphere on Steemit. Thank you very much to the STEEMIT team for this opportunity and for continuously trusting us for this role!

A brief summary of my history on Steem

I first joined the Steemit community in August 2020, after being introduced to the platform by a university friend, Randula. Since then, I have grown to love reading and writing on the platform, and have become an active member of the community. To be honest this is an exciting and a different chapter of my life.

In addition to being a writer, I have also held various responsibilities such as moderator, curator, country representative, organizer, and promoter, which have allowed me to develop my skills and make meaningful contributions to the community.

Due to some personal reasons, I took a break from the platform for about a year. But I am now back for the past 5 months and ready to continue my journey.

In my professional life, I am a Civil Engineer with over a year of experience working in a private company constructing a high-rise office building. My educational background includes a BSc in Civil Engineering with second class honors from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2021 and a diploma in Computer Science and English from Esoft Metro Campus.

I am passionate about sports (especially Cricket), literature, traveling, agriculture, politics, and history.

These interests have helped me to be productive, committed, precise, and manage quality in my work.
