The Legend! The myth! The king has returned with a bang. After 3 years of a rough patch, Kohli is showing his full class at the perfect timing. The whole world was waiting for this day, this stubborn guy, the GOAT of our Era. Yeah, that saying is right!

It is the Epic encounter between India and Pakistan, as the 16th match of the tournament. With the huge history between these two countries, India vs Pakistan Cricket matches is always high-volume. After losing in the ASIA cup, India had to give something extraordinary, to their nation. The Melbourne ground is filled with spectators, nearly one hundred thousand.

India won the toss and decided to bowl. The two in-form batsmen, Babar and Rizwan were the two triumph cards of Pakistan's batting line-up. But Arshdeep Singh of India had other plans. These two were on the dug-outs within the first 4 overs. But, Iftikhar Ahmed and Massod put up a 76 runs partnership taking Pakistan home. These two scored 51 and 51* runs respectively. With the small cameo from Shaheen, Pakistan put in 159 runs in their 20 overs. Hardik Pandya and Arshadeep Singh shared 3 wickets.

With the seam bowling attack of Pakistan, it's a good total to defend. But can't underestimate the powerful batting line-up OF India. With the experience they have, there was a 50/50 situation. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf just rattled the Indian top order in the powerplay. So, Rohit, KL, and SKY were in the dugout and India was 31-4 after 6 overs.
But Kohli and Pandya slowly build up the inning and batted together until the 19th over. They put in 113 runs partnership.

But the target was not never easy. India had to get 117 runs in the final 10 overs, 60 runs in the last 5, and 31 runs in the last 02. The fans are on their feet. Even though they are not my country nor our group, I knew that heart attack mode was on. But Kohli once again changed the game. He hit 2 brilliant sixes in the 19th over against Haris Rouf. And equation was 16 runs in the last over.

All the dramas were there. Pandya got out in the first ball. Then 13 runs were needed in the last 3 balls. The next one was a no-ball, and it was hit tho the crowd by Kohli. There were little words with umpires. The ball hit the stumps in the free-hit and 3 runs were taken by India. All the things are happening there. Pakistan was complaining as it was a dead ball after hitting the stumps. But the umpire gave the call. India finished with one ball to spare.
A nail-biting show after all. The Cricket world cup has started in style. Still, there are more to come.
Until the next time! Enjoy!
Thank you.
Best Regards!

Peace & Love!
Oh my word! What a match!
With 6 balls left I told my hubby there is NO WAYS India is going to make it..
Well, I was proven wrong!
Now this is what makes me LOVE cricket SO much!
Yeah, it was Pakistani's match! It was a genuine mistake by Babar to give the last over to a spinner, and not having a 6th bowler is always a problem for them. And the no-ball, wide, the drama in the free-hit cost the match for them. This man Kohli is crazy! One of the hated and also loved guy across the game!
Yeah, anything can happen!
I agree with you, Kohli is next level (•ิ‿•ิ)
I don't think my country man, Marius is the favorite today.
