The Diary Game || 31-08-24 || Keeping Fit with Steemians and Attending a Fruit Party
On a Saturday morning, I went out with my outfit for three events. It was going to be a massive day with lots of activities, and guess what? It was the last day in August, a month of ups and downs. At exactly 6:30 am, I set out jogging to the fitness centre, where I would meet other trainees, which are steemians inclusive.
My mentor and coach, @ngoenyi, was already there with @fortwis09 and @wizzyboy3. She extended her program to a lady virtually who showed interest in working or burning out her fats. I also joined the program, which included;
Jumping jack
Step board runs
Squats
stretches and
tummy tucks
This is a picture of me doing squats. It was painful, though it helps in butts and thighs. Wearing the most comfortable and flexible jeans made me squat as if I'm sitting on a chair. After the exercise with her virtually, others came onboard as more step boards were out to accommodate all those who came to walk out.
There were 10 step boards placed horizontally for expansion and convenience. Coach Ngoenyi started out with a song that would make us energetic to carry out these tasks.

We did over 10 programs, but I'll mention a few. The first was full body stretching backwards. This was done by sitting on a step board, thrusting your hands behind you on the step board, and then leaning backwards.
When this is attained, you lift your legs up high, one after the other. It was easy to lift our legs when our backs were thrust backwards. I felt the pains on my abdomen to be sincere, and it got me so deep that I endured till the program was completed. It was to be done 20 times, 4 rounds.
The next program was a thighs and legs stretch. This was done by placing both hands on a step board and plank your body as if you want to do pushups. When this is attained, you pull one leg up to the far end of the step board's side while still placing your hands on the board for support.
We were required to do the same for both legs. It must touch the two sides of the step board from bottom to top. We were to do this program 20 times for 4 rounds. I felt the pain on my thigh, to be frank. Actions alone couldn't express. These are just a few programs I wish to highlight, as the rest have names unknown to me.
We did a program where we were to paddle our legs as if we were riding a bicycle.
We also did one that has to do with sitting and then bending your head down to the ground.
It wasn't so tedious like a normal day as the Stay Fit Team had a fruit party to organise at a poolside. After the whole program, we did stretches and then embarked on the journey to the poolside, where we would organise the party. Here with me were @dorismos, @fortwis09, @wizzyboy3 and @jebbymoz12.

Every month end, the Stayfit club usually organises a pool hangout, an alliance with other fitness clubs, or a fruit party to celebrate the moment of working out for a month. It's usually on a sanitation day, as the last Saturday of the month is the specified day for such activities. We left with our hearts filled with joy to celebrate the moment.

We didn't go as a group though because some things had to be put in place. Arriving at the poolside was a success as we waited for the hosts to come. While waiting, I took some alcohol into my body as an energiser to pass time. The chief organisers came in no time and brought in

I told myself silently that I did well for not missing out because I would have been in pain. On a normal day, I usually miss it because it's always on a Saturday, a sanitation day, but I didn't miss the fun of Saturday. The moments created, the fun, the time spent, and the food, especially, were just too sufficient for me. I didn't swim, as I was just so busy engulfing things deep down my abdomen.
In no time, we left the place for our different residential areas while I slid to where another fun was found. I was invited to a wedding ceremony, which I honoured. I went there mostly for pictures, videos, food and dance. Trust me.

I just wasted nine good hours of pleasure from one place to another. In my mind, I was regretting the time spent as I would have used it in writing, but actually, if I didn't attend those events, I wouldn't be narrating my day in this diary. So if you have the opportunity as long as you're alive, give yourself reasons to smile.

hello your post on amazing & energetics on day the great that you stayed comitted to your fittness routine. The exercises sounded tough to but you did so well. The fruit party was a fun way to end the day.
