I'm in Support of Fundraising for a Phase-2 Solar Installation Project in Nigeria
Greetings steemians!
It's a pleasure to join this contest and also use the opportunity to give my little support to the second phase of solar installation project in Nigeria. For the purpose of this contest, I will share my understanding of solar power and its benefits briefly and also show my support by sharing 25% of my reward with @smilenigeria.
Solar power is a natural source of energy that is being generated from the sun and it can be converted into both thermal or electrical energy. Solar technologies are used in converting the sunlight in electrical power via photovoltaic panels which ranges in size. Solar power can be used to light up homes and other purposes. This also provide renewable source of energy.

Although, solar power panels are expensive, difficult to install and most times financial liability can step in. But when all these are being sorted out, then the benefits of solar power are greater.
- This energy is pollution free (it is good for the environment because it gives a clean, green source of energy)
- It is safer than our traditional electric current and well secured.
- It decreased the dependency of fossil fuels
- Low cost, in terms of reduction / elimination of electric bills.
- No more maintenance after installation
- It also contributes to the economy of the country by creating jobs for citizens (solar installer and manufacturers).
- It can be installed anywhere (at home, business environment or in a field to a building).
- This power is self-sufficient
- It is more efficient.
- It is well assured for sustainable future
- Lastly, it also improve our home value.
Solar power has more advantages than disadvantages that is why it is more preferable.
The most unique part of solar power is that it is renewable and as long as sun shines continuously, energy keeps coming in.
