Contest Environment 9th : Enviromental Hygiene - Cleaning the Environment and Washing of Water Filter

Hello members of steem for better life community. It is a privilege to participate in the 9th edition of environment contest usually organized by @klen.civil which is titled; environmental hygiene and it's aim on;

Seeing the persistence of steemit users in protecting the environment against global warming which has occurred so far. Also, the contest is a reference material for the world smile project in developing a framework to contribute to a better environment in the future.

Getting to know what the contest is all about, I will briefly explain environmental hygiene.

Understanding Environmental Hygiene

Environmental hygiene includes the control of harmful bacteria and other organisms that threatened human health ( in other words; disinfection activities), rodent control and fumigation activities.
The reason for environmental hygiene is to make safe place in order to hinder diseases. Keeping the environment clean is the number one way to survive and it aid in hindering us from falling sick which in turn keeps the health of both present and future generations safe. To keep the environment clean is not an easy task and we have no other option than to live a better life.

Ways to Maintain Clean Environment

In order to keep the environment clean and healthy, we can play the role of controlling high rate of pollution by; recycling of the waste products, lowers the use of contaminants or toxic material at home and avoiding pollution by all means.
Being in good health is not only the lack of diseases, it is also the consideration of mental and social well-being of people in the environment. In this contest entry, I will share my activities on clean air and clean water supply management.

Clean Air

Clean air has no harmful effects and it is good for people to breathe. The environment is everything around us, so we must put more efforts in keeping it clean so we can live a better life. From the pictures below, you can see how dirty this place was with grasses and some decay leaves and materials.

I tried to clean up the place so to be able to breathe fresh and healthy air in the environment. Also, the grass can cause rashes, body itchy, swelling eyes and running nose.

Clean Water Supply

Cleaning up water regularly is very good for the health because some unwanted things could still come into the water through the faucet.

Above image is water filter that removes common contaminants and it is our duty to maintain proper hygiene by keeping this filter clean.
