Hi steemians friends, how are you? I hope that we are all in good health so that we can carry out activities as well as possible. This time I wrote about my activities in promoting steemit to one of my friends, namely Syamsul Bahri. He is an energetic person with all his activities in the business world, besides that he has also been entrusted as a "Geuchik".

The promotion process began when we met at the party venue, even though it was in a crowd but I took the time to do a steem promo. However, after discussing about 30 minutes, the person concerned had to leave because there was another agenda that had to be completed and we made an appointment to continue the discussion about steemit at another time.

As promised, we met again on the night of Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Teupin Punti SPBU Coffee Shop, namely "Gathap Coffee" to continue the discussion about the steemit platform and also guide him to create an account. But unfortunately at this second meeting we could only continue the discussion but could not create a steemit account because the cellphone in question was having problems. Even though the account creation failed, we continued to discuss until 23.30 WIB and promised to continue tomorrow at Syamsul Bahri's house.

Long story short, on Wednesday (September 1, 2021) my wife and I came to visit Syamsul Bahri's house to guide him in creating an account and also making Achievement 1. At 16.30 WIB, we arrived there and we went straight to the point to help him join the platform. steemit. After successfully creating an email, Syamsul Bahri followed the steps for creating a steemit account one by one. Until finally Syamsul Bahri managed to create an account named @syamsoel74. Welcome to the steemit platform, friends.

After having an account, I provide an explanation of several things that a newcomer should know, including the following:

1. How to Store and Use Keys (Private Posting Key, Private Active Key, Private Memo Key, Private Owner Key and Master Password).
2. How to make posts, resteem, provide comments and also give awards (Upvotes) on other people's posts.
3. Introduce some communities and how to join the community.
4. Provide an explanation of SBD, STEEM and Steem Power.
5. How to do SBD marketing in the internal market to become Steem.
6. How to do Power Up.
7. How to follow other steemians and some other things.

I'm mentoring @syamsoel74

For the first stage, I guide @syamsoel74 to join the New Commers community so that he can continue his activities on the steemit platform, namely making achievement tasks. While chatting casually, I helped him in writing his first post, Achievement1 about introductions. Technically, @syamsoel74 has good knowledge and skills in writing and using his android phone, making it easier to post. I also briefly introduced the implementation of the Markdown Style. I was at @syamsoel74's house until 20.00 WIB, guiding him until he finished posting his first writing, which was task 1. Hopefully it will be verified soon so he can continue writing assignment 2.
