IT'S ABA CITY FIRST STEEMIT MEET UP, AND IT WAS A SUCCESS|| PROMOTING STEEMIT ON AIR AT A RADIO HOUSE|| IT IS A GOOD THING I AM A STEEMIT PROMOTER. BY @NINAPENDA

Hello amazing steemit promoters, I am ecstatic making this entry of our just concluded Steemit Promotion which was held yesterday been 3rd of July 2021 at our head office (208 Azikiwe road Aba. Nigeria)

The turn out was impressive, but there was a heavy rainfall all through yesterday, from the early hours of the morning till night, that I think was the reason behind why most members didn't show up. But trustingly, next meet up we will have a great number of persons and a promising weather as well.

The meet up started at exactly 3:15pm, though the number was small but we have to keep to time, so we kicked off immediately, hoping for others to join us when they arrive.

Though before this meet up, @ninapenda and @samuel20 had visited a radio house for the Promotion of steemit.

We went to a different radio station this time around because we believe that every radio station has their audience. We normally promote steemit at a radio station called Real FM, but on Friday we went to BUZZ FM to promote steemit on air. We believed that their audience have not heard anything about steemit that was why we took the bold step.

We explained to the audience what steemit was all about, How one can join, Who and who are eligible to join, What benefits are there to join steemit, etc.
We also gave out an address where one can locate us easily (208 Azikiwe road,Aba.), and also gave a phone number which they can reach out to for more information.

Among us are two prospects who joined us for the meet up.

We discussed a whole lot of things during the meet up. Before the discussion proper, each one of us introduced ourselves by saying our names and our usernames here on steemit.

•Branding-having a uniform for Aba Steemit members

•The Importance of Power up

The moment was an interesting one and also interactive. The speakers @focusnow and @samuel20 , encouraged everyone to press on and try to be active at every given time. They also emboldened the inactive ones among us to keep active.

After all said and done, we all had soft refreshments to ease off stress.

It was a beautiful moment, while still on refreshment, the floor was made open for questions......

Some steemians wore their T-shirts to the meet up as some gave reasons why they didn't wear theirs. Those who never had the T-shirt, purchased theirs immediately after the meet up, as they wouldn't love to be left out on the next meet up.

We concluded that our meet up will be held every saturday of the day week, so as to encourage the weak ones among us.

The meet up ended at exactly 5pm, there after we took more pictures. Though the meet up was scheduled for one hour but due to the weather, we purposely extended it, and it was fun after all.....
