HOW I DID MY THURSDAY SHOUTOUT PROMOTION|| ALREADY GIVEN OUT 10 STEEM SUPPORT TO 2 NIGERIAN PROMOTERS (@LADYOFPOLICY AND @ESSYGOLD) FOR PROMO-STEEM T-SHIRT PRINTING, 150 SUPPORT IS REMAINING|| 10% TO @PROMOSTEEM.COM

Hello dear lovelies, it pleases me to let you know how my SHOUTOUT Thursday promotion went and the amount of support I have given to Nigerian promoters to assist them with promo-steem community promotion t-shirts.

MY THURSDAY SHOUTOUT PROMOTION

I announced in this post link that all Thursdays are for shout-outs and that Nigerian promoters should join me to promote steem. I planned to go out in group with the team in my city of residence, Uyo. But, I got an emergency that took me to my village.

So i quickly made arrangements for those in my city to participate in group while I do mine along the way. I gathered that they were able to do their own shout-outs, they will make their own posts to give account of how their activities went.

But here are some pictures they sent. @ijalady sent them. That shows that the shout-out was a success on their part. But full details will come from them. I am aware that @ijelady, @chichieze, @dequeen were among. But they will give full details.

As for me, I dressed in my promoter t-shirt and left the city by 9:19am to Aba, Abia state. My Elder brother had sent me to get a brand new smart phone for his mother-in-law and take it to her in my village. That is where she resides. Well, I didn't hasitate. Being the last child in my family, others like to send me on errands though the one that sent me is not in Nigeria. Along my way to Aba, I distributed fliers because I always go out with them. On getting to Aba, I quickly bought the phone

And on a second thought, I decided to meet up with Aba steemalive community promoters led my focusnow. I met them and ate with them before continuing my journey. They were a lot of them there including @ladyofpolicy, @tripplem, @marajah, @focusnow, @samuel20, @ninapenda, @ruggedangel and others. It was fun to meet them all. We took the following pictures.

I later left with @ladyofpolicy who had come from Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state because we were heading the same direction. We got to Umuahia and went different ways.

I boarded a vehicle to my home town, Ndi Ebe Abam in Arochukwu LGA, still in Abia state. I continued with my Distribution of fliers. I only took picture with this lady below. Some were not comfortable taking pictures.

This lady in the pictures above showed kin interest and we exchanged contacts. I got to my village by 5:30pm, I arranged with the driver who dropped me by the junction to go drop others while I boarded a motorcycle to my village to come pick me up because I won't waste time. There is no strong internet connection there for the network I am using so I didn't want to sleep there.

Thank goodness that I met the old mama frying garri or cassava flakes. She was very excited to see me. She said I had to wait for her to finish frying the garri so that I can go with some. Hmm, I told her there is no time. However, I fried the garri a little, delivered my massage and left.

You can see her in the pictures below. She was running away from taking the pictures, haha. She said she is not properly dressed, she insisted in giving me the little she fried.

At the village square, I saw our village masquerade. Yes, this is the season. It is a period of new yam festival and people were seated and watching, kids were being chased around by the masquerade. I took pictures any ways.

I continued my journey, but I got down at our river called Igwu river, I wanted to touch the water once more. We used to bathe and swim in the river when I was small.

The river overflows during rainy season and that is why no body is there . But when it is dry season, they will take care of the bushes around and so many kids and adults will resume swimming in the river.

I was able to meet up with the same driver that brought me and we zoomed off to Umuahia. My plan was to get to Aba from where I can leave to Uyo very early morning, but it was already late. I got to Umuahia by almost 8pm and it was dark. I had to lodge there. But trust me, I was still giving out fliers and promoting steem especially to those who saw me taking those pictures in the village. They had asked what I wanted to use the pictures for. I explained to them and gave out fliers. I was in a haste to meet up with the driver and so we scheduled to talk or chat on Whatsapp.

The experience I gathered is that, we need to always move with the brand, either t-shirts or any other thing like face cap, they speak volume. People were attracted to me. Some were looking at me, I wore both the t-shirt and facecap. I believe that some must have picked on the name and will research on their own.

You may not directly recruit someone but you are making impacts when you always move with the brand as a Promoter. Please, lets form the habit of wearing the brand, it speaks volume.

That was how my day went dear friends. I enjoyed it a lot. I will quickly travel back to my city to continue with the promotion for Friday. I have made arrangements already for others to move out. I will meet them In the location.

I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN OUT 100 STEEM TO 2 NIGERIAN PROMOTERS

I announced in the same post above of my willingness to assist 5 NIGERIAN promoters who will like to join the shout-outs promotion every Thursdays to apply so as to get their support, print the t-shirts and join us. I want to encourage all Nigerians to be active in promo-steem community.

2 person's have made an application, and I encouraged them to make the minimum delegation or more to @promosteem.com which the did.

I approved their applications and sent them 50 steem each already so they can begin as soon as possible. Hope fully, by the next Thursday or so, they should be able to join the promotion on their promo-steem community t-shirt.
