Mentorship is key; signed up a newbie days ago and assisted with her Achievement post which she posted successfully.

Hello dear promoters,I trust you're doing pretty good. Let's keep the good work going and as we do that steemit will become an household name which all will like to reckon with in a short while...all to our greater good.

My emphasis today is the need for mentorship. Mentorship as we know is a way of raising people such that they also can grow,become rooted and established in a particular field or area.Mentorship is not limited to the particular field ,it can also be adopted in the steem ecosystem.Mentoring newbie is very important,there are a lot of good this will do to the newbie and to the steem blockchain as a whole.

I signed up this newbie 3 days ago and ensured she did her Achievement posts in my own opinion is the very first step to getting it right on steemit before exploring other aspect of the blockchain. I took my time to lecture her on what and what should be written and how it should be written. Although it was virtual but that didn't stop me from tutoring her all the same because I believe we should be able to take advantage any and every given opportunity to promote steem be it online or offline. - It helps newbie find their way around.

Mentorship helps newbie find their way around and helps them focus on what matter first and not to keep wandering without any form of direction. It can be very confusing when you sign up at first without being guided. I've heard someone say that on signing up,he didn't know what to do as everything looked confusing,but when such person is handled and guided,he will be able to do the needful and what is required of him and becomes very productive.

- It helps prevent dormant account.

When mentorship is properly carried out on the steem blockchain,we won't be having too many dormant account...that is we won't be having account that aren't active. Mentoring newbies will keep them active with a lot of activities and task to be done on the steem blockchain. There is no point opening an account when you won't even be using it in the first place,that is a waste of time and resources that we can actually avoid if we play the role of a mentor to our newbies.

- It help prevent mistakes

Mentorship will also help prevent cheap mistakes on the path of newbie. So many newbies come in and do the wrong thing,well we won't totally blame them because they don't really know.Although there is a commuinty called newcomers commuinty where they can get the road map of their journey. The question is how will they know if they ain't told such Community exist. That is why mentorship is Key and should be taken seriously to avoid violation of rules & frustration on the part of newbies.

- Newbies can inturn help other new investors.

When you help a newbie and he/she becomes rooted and established on the platform,that newbie can also help others find their way around too and this will make the work on steemit very easy. This will now become a cycle and system which will allow for smooth running in the system.
