Saludos de nuevo amigos de : Steem-Database y de este concurso que me reta cada vez más. Ya en esta cuarta ronda, el desafío es interpretar el logo de la cripto Ethereum. Lo primero que hice fue revisar el significado de esa palabra: Etéreo; en español se refiere a algo que es intangible, sin forma, pero a la vez es divino, sublime. Con esto para iniciar, quise de alguna manera hacer poco tangible el logo es decir que no se captara de manera directa.

La obra de Carlos Cruz-Diez también entra dentro del movimiento de Arte Cinético, pues sus piezas parecen adquirir movimiento según la ubicación del observador. Para el reto la pieza que me sirvió de inspiración es esta:

Recurrí al Op Art, especialmente a un artista plástico venezolano por su trabajo con el color, Carlos Cruz-Diez. Famoso por usar ese elemento intangible en sus piezas e investigaciones, haciéndolo el protagonista. En sus piezas recurre además del colora a figuras geométricas, especialmente rombos, con los cuales hizo muchas creaciones. Wikipedia resume su aporte al arte de esta manera:

También cree una versión en blanco y negro, en esta predomina más el arte óptico geométrico.

Recurrí a mi fiel aliado Power Point, no es exactamente un programa de diseño, pero me gusta su simplicidad y tiene algunos efectos básicos que sirven al propósito de crear. Inicie cambiando el color del logo, y replicándolo muchas veces para hacer una versión en blanco y negro y otra donde el color fuese el protagonista. Les muestro un gif con capturas del proceso.

I turned to my trusty ally Power Point, it's not exactly a design program, but I like its simplicity and it has some basic effects that serve the purpose of creating. I started by changing the color of the logo, and replicating it many times to make a black and white version and another where color was the protagonist.
