It delighted me to participate in the "what I have learned lately on steemit" Contest initiated by one of the promosteem promoter @mcsamm. Thank you so much sir because this Contest will make room for all steemians but especially newbies like myself to learn from others and thus improving or become a better version of oneself.

Throughout my 6 weeks journey in steemit blockchain, I have discovered and learned a lot. But what I learned yesterday in @steemalive telegram classroom organized by @focusnow And @ngoenyi worth sharing. I hope newbies like me will find this piece useful.

LESSON 1 BUILDING OF STEEM POWER FOR BETTER STEEMIT EXPERIENCE:

I learned that steem power (SP) is the steem that has been Lock or invested, meaning it can't be immediately withdrawn to spend. Steem power give me influence on steemit, the more Steem Power I have the more money I give to authors with upvotes as well as the greater rewards I will get as Curations rewards, so steem power makes steemit a win win.

Steem Power indicates that I'm stronger in the platform it will give me influence in such a way that other steemians will be praying for me to visit their post and vote them. Steemit is a business, so steem power is the capital so I have to invest capital in this business on order to stay in it. Steem Power has the power to make both myself and someone else to smile, I can safe myself the stress of creating contents with steem power

LESSON 2 HOW TO ACCUMULATE STEEM POWER:

I recently learned from @cryptokannon post in the newcomers Community how to earn steem, the options includes:

• by creating interesting and valuable contents for contents readers to determine if I can earn steem
• freelance work: I can be networking with Community members on steemit, sharing my special skills which I can offer as a paid services or product
• I can buy steem at exchanges like binance, transfer it to my steemit wallet and use the liquid steem to power up
• then I can as well rent or lease my (SP) to other steem users using http://dlease.io for daily payment to my wallet.
• when I power up steem I earn at writing 2.18% Apr I don't have to do anything, it increases automatically. And when I power up steem I earn Curation rewards when I voted on people's post.
• Contests: I can earn steem by participating in Contests, if I probably win I will be given some STEEMs of which I can use to power up my (SP)

LESSON 3 USEFUL LINKS

Recently I learned about the useful link in steemit https://steemworld.org. it's a very useful website which I can check everything about my account and transactions on steem blockchain, the website was created by a witness @steemchiller.

• I made good use of https://steemworld.org tool to know my steem power value if I vote on someone post, (how much value it will be added to that post)
• I learned lately how to know how much I can earn from my SP weekly.

Let me demonstrate how you can use https://steemworld.org to check the value your SP will add to a voted post at different percentage:

I have only 72 SP no influence at all, as you can see even if I vote a post at 100% it adds no value to it😭

• this has really taught me the important of (SP) the maximum influence

• I also used the simulated SP button to check from how many SP one can get in order to add value on a post, yeah with simulated SP you can enter SP amount and it will automatically calculate the corresponding voting value

• I find out that it's from 500 SP that I can start getting Curation rewards

Friends if your SP is not up to 500 like mine hmm you're almost a no body, no influence at all . This is why I have to build up my SP.

LASTLY I JUST LATELY LEARN ABOUT THE 500 SP MINNOW SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR NEW- COMERS:

According to @cryptokannon this is the
Program Requirements:
1.) Steemit users who have complete until at least or minimum at Achievement 4 in the Newcomers Achievement Program.
2.) Steemit users with the combined All-time Author SP, and liquid rewards of STEEM and SBD which is still under 500 SP/STEEM.

I'm going to write my achievement4 task then I'll apply for the support I hoped my application will be accepted because that will means a whole lot for me.

Steemit is an excellence blockchain platform where we learned and discovered new new things on daily basis.

In all I have learned lately that For One to be successful in steemit, you just have to be creative, creating quality Contents, building steem power as possible as you can (SP) also patience and persistent is vital. Thanks for reading through.
