PROMOSTEEM #03: INTRODUCING STEEMIT TO NURSES AND STAFF DURING LABOR AND RECOVERY FROM GIVING BIRTH

It's good to be back sharing happenings in my life from the past two weeks that I haven't been so active posting due to labor and giving birth to our new born baby girl Evangeline. Though the situation was and still tough because after me giving birth through caesarean section (cs), 5 days after that we need to admit my baby back to the hospital due to some infections.

It is very hard as a newly parents with @steemitcebu because it is very stressful and added to that it is only me and him can come to hospital to do errands due to covid restrictions. BUT LIFE MUST GO ON AND KNOWING WE CAN GET THROUGH ALL THESE THINGS WITH GOD.

But one of the good news aside from baby is getting better is that I was able to introduce steemit to the nurses and midwives who took care of me and taking care of the baby now.

I got to communicate some of them while I was at the labor room. I got chance to have their time because I was the only patient that day and they were very communicative with me and so I was feeling excited to introduce steem to them. Unfortunately cellphone was never allowed inside the labor room for the patients to use for privacy purposes. But even though without the camera I was able to share to them and helped them sign up.

the chance when my husband got to visit me before surgery and got a good selfie

When they are able to sign up, I gave them my messenger so I can help them how to get started. The following screenshots of text messages shows how I guided them and the time I gave to introduce steemit to these hard working staffs of the hospital.*

I chose to hide their names in messenger to respect their privacy.

I am going to form a group chat for this group so I can guide them whenever they need any help.

Thank you very much for the support 🙂

I saw your husband's post about your baby. You are still recovering from your surgery and your baby is also fighting to get well yet you are still working hard for Steemit. I hope I can do more than praying for you both to recover the soonest.

I delivered via CS as well and I was only able have a quick glance of my baby after the delivery. It took me 3 days before I was able to carry and feed him but before it happened, my baby's pedia visited my room at the hospital asking me to try harder to recover fast because my baby was not accepting the formula milk they were giving him. He only spits it out after feeding and she said that it is a sign that the baby might have gotten any kind of bacteria while he was still inside me and he might have to undergo some laboratory check-ups. Hearing it I felt like I wanted to burst in tears while my body was shaking in fear. Aside from the medication the hospital is giving them all we can really do is look at them and pray that they get better soon. If only we can take all those pain for them.

I will continue to pray for you and your baby ma'am. God is great and your little one will have a total recovery.

About the bill, we paid about 130K or about $2700 in total excluding the everyday expenses we spent for the meals and fare. Praying for more hands that will extend help for your family.

I hope this post gets support from the support team too.
