Encouraging Pakistani small and home-based businesses to do their business on Steemit
Last time, I did a live session on Instagram to encourage my blogger friends and influencers to join Steemit. Read more about it here .
It was a very successful session. I helped join 10 people. Unfortunately, there was an issue of invalid phone number going on so the procedure got late. But finally 10 have joined. And one of them already has been verified for her achievement 1 (@ sanyazulfiqar). I will share the details of rest of them when they will get verified.
I made a whatsapp group for rest of them and I have been constantly in touch with them to guide about Steemit. Right now, I have given proper guidelines on nailing their achievement 1. Hopefully, they will complete their verification soon.
While on the hunt of potential investors and the creation of Sell For Steem by @haidermehdi , I thought why not ask my friends who are running small businesses to come here and market their products and get steem in exchange.
I chatted with few business owners and briefed them about what Steemit is and the potential of Steem. How can it benefit their business and how can it be beneficial for growth of Steem.
Main points that I discussed:
Businesses use social medias to market their products.
Social Medias like Instagram and Facebook help them reach to wide range of people thus increasing audience which results in increment of engagement and eventually mounting audience engagement channels towards marketing and generate good sales.
So, already using different social medias, why not use Steemit?
Steemit is also a social media and blogging platform but based on blockchain technology and rewards its users with cryptocurrency Steem for posting and curating.
Businesses can promote their products here like they do on other social medias and attract audience. On the posts, they can get upvotes which have monetary value, ofcourse it's not guaranteed but it's a bonus.
On steemit, businesses can sell their products, in exchange of Steem ofcourse.
Steem is a cryptocurrency which has a lot of potential and is on the uptrend. Currently, it's setting around 1 usd and is predicted to go higher.
Businesses can increase the circulation of Steem which will result in the growth of Steem, eventually benefiting all in the long run.
These are some of the pages on instagram which have given positive signal and will give response after doing their own research.
I have set up a poll asking people who are interested and then will arrange a meeting with @rashid001, @haidermehdi and @hassanabid in a couple of days for their further guidance.
Already got 5 requests in an hour. It seems many will be interested to move their business on Steemit. :)
