PROMOTING STEEMIT: SIGNING UP A NEWBIE TO THE STEEMIT PLATFORM

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing great in this wonderful community.

Promoting steem is very essential to the steemit decentralized blockchain as it increases users on the platform, makes steemit social media popular and also promotes the steem cryptocurrency.

We as members of the promo steem community should therefore take upon ourselves to make this possible. We should therefore do our maximum best in promoting steem, so that in a few years to come, steemit would be one of the one of the world’s largest social media platform by number users.

Today I took on another promoting steem adventure where I shared flyers to people on my way to campus. I met one of my friends who was willing to know more after I had explained to him about the basics of steem after gifting him a steem flyer.

I have already been telling him about steemit but he is always reluctant to join, but I found time today to carefully answer the questions that were bothering him to his outermost satisfaction. He then suggested we meet after I come back from campus.

He then paid me a visit when I alerted him that I had returned.
I first took him through the sign up process; we tried using a mobile phone but it was not successful, so we then switched to a laptop computer, where I signed him up successfully.

I then took him through the writing of the achievement 1 task. My friend is not that familiar with a normal computer keyboard; he normally prefers using his phone, so I had to make him dictate what he wanted to write, so that I type in order to speed our progress.

I took time to explain to him how to post him on steemit every community has its rules and regulations and also what content can be posted there.

He being a Manchester United fan and also a football lover, his main aim was to post on only football, but I suggested he tried posting in the other communities like the steem-ghana and promo-steem.

I must confess, I am very happy to add a new user to our fast growing social media platform. I believe this little additions over a long period of time will increase the number of users on the platform. I would also commend the efforts of other steemians, who have taking it upon themselves to promote steem wherever they find themselves.
