Hello everyone on @steemit-family, I am excited to participate in yet another interesting contest organized by @peachyladiva and I must confess that I've learned quiet a lot from her contest and others being organized here.
Today I want to share my opinion concerning the new topic "should mother's be the one with sole responsibility to take care of children?"
In my own opinion, I will say "no" it is not the sole responsibility of the mother to take care of the children.

should women alone take care of the children? What's your take on this?

Like I stated above, women alone should not be left to take care of the children.
I believe there was an agreement between both parents before giving birth to l the children and taking care of them shouldn't be left for the mother alone for an example, when a child did some "potty time" while the mother is resting and the father or any adult is there, they should be able to take care of that without calling the mother's attention.
The human body needs rest and the mother is a human too.
Or even if the mum is there, at least someone should also help because I believe helping in taking care of children bonds the individual with the child because children gets attached to anyone who helps them at the time of their needs.

Should this practice still continue?

The practice of leaving children's care to the mother should stop. The practice to me is not welcome.

is there advantage when the male gender takes care of the children also?

Yes there are advantages.

  • Male gender are always not around which creates distance between them and children therefore, anytime they are around and helped in taking care of children, it creates love and sense of belonging to the children.
So the advantage here is that the child will feel loved and cherished by all.
  • I have come to understand with time that the male gender takes a lot of time doing their things which always comes out perfect.
The advantage there is that there will be perfection.

what's your take about the contest topic?

Being a family based community, this contest will help a lot of parents and care givers to read and understand from different views about who's responsible for taking care of children.
I believe no one knows it all however, we learn everyday from different angles.
