Regrow & Renew Your Brain Cells

The human brain is being developed, but after that point, it begins shrinking. The difference in intelligence may be vast in some cases. After the age of 40, the deterioration speeds up, especially if the person consumes sugar & carbohydrates, and does not exercise nor fast. The so-called brain atrophy is normal and natural, but we can organize counter-attacks, and slow down the deterioration or even better, completely stop it, at least for a while if we try hard enough.

As you age, the brain may potentially shrink by 0.4% per year, which can lead to all sorts of cognitive deficiencies. An example would be a lack of focus & loss of memory. The good news is that "growing the brain" is possible, but there are strict measures to be taken.

First of all, the brain needs lots and lots of B vitamins (all of them). For example, the symptom of a deficiency in vitamin B1 (lean pork chops offer a lot of B1) is amnesia, or in other words, the loss of memory. The deficiency in vitamins B1 and B12 results in a losing the fat shield around the nerves (the human brain is composed mostly of fat).

A high percentage of the fat in the brain is the DHA form of the Omega-3. In other words, you need fish! Lots and lots of fish. If you can't afford tuna, trout, or salmon, go to the nearby lake or river and catch small "American" catfish. That strain of catfish is easy to catch 'cause they eat everything and will bite even empty hooks. Yet, they're invasive, meaning they endanger and destroy the population of other fish, mostly by eating their eggs. However, they are super tasty and super fatty (very rich in Omega-3). Besides sardines (which are also very healthy), American catfish is the cheapest fish in the world, yet, among the most nutrient-dense! Cod liver oil is also a great source of Omega 3 (and vitamin D which is surprising).

Another important thing for the health of the brain is phytonutrients, which offer protection against mental stress, which is the only thing our immune system doesn't stand a chance against. They also protect us against the toxic effects of foods (more or less, against everything that oxidizes the tissue and creates free radicals).

The most common causes of brain-related problems are high levels of cortisol caused by stress, unhealthy blood sugar levels & insulin resistance. Those will cause neurodegeneration. The best, fastest, cheapest and most effective treatment is fasting.

Cortisol may also be dealt with by exercising and avoiding the drama "toxic" people. If your own brain stressed you out by offering plenty of reasons to be worried about the future, you must conquer your own mind by ignoring it for a while. The mind that caused problems can't solve them, otherwise, it would not create them in the first place. The Bible says "walk by faith", start doing that. Follow the inner voice for a while, until you reprogram your mind!

There are some other factors that cause the deterioration of the central nervous system. Here are a few:

lack of sleep

smoking

alcohol

Fortunately, there are ways of maintaining and enhance mental health. First of all, you need to offer a different "fuel" to your brain and organism in general. Instead of glucose that comes from sugar, you need ketones! Therefore, step number one towards the enhancement of brain functions is to quit consuming refined carbohydrates and sugar. If your condition is critical, then you should NOT be consuming fruits, since they're high in sugar as well.

The only type of food you should be consuming at this point are non-starchy vegetables and meat products (excluding industrial products, such as sausages, salami, etc.)

By doing that your body will begin burning fat for energy, instead of carbohydrates, which leads us to the next step: fasting.

Fasting obviously also triggers fat burning and detoxification. OMAD (one meal a day) + occasional prolonged fasting would be ideal! That would deal with insulin resistance and will increase BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor). Over time, BDNF will regrow brain cells and nerves (a.k.a. neurogenesis).

The most useful exercise that will enhance the regrowth, even more, is sprinting! Sprinting is especially good at triggering the greater production of HGH (human growth hormone), which is known as the fat-burner. At this point, you already know why burning fat (using it as fuel) is important! Men should be sprinting at least 30 seconds daily because it raises levels of testosterone by a staggering 450%!

In the end, I'd like to remind you of the damaging effects of phones and similar electrical devices (wireless headphones, for example). Limit the time you spend by holding such devices next to the brain, 'cause your life literally depends on it.
