#5Second Rule to Insert In Year 2022

Hope you are all doing well here in this community. I'm a newcomer here and going to share my first post ever in this community, hope you guys can relate and tolerate it. I'm going to share a trick with you people if you think that you are not satisfied with your life and conditions of it. If you want to achieve something but you are facing difficulties while do so. If you think too much of doing something there are massive possibilities that you won't do anything why? Because we only think of doing something which is unfamiliar, different or difficult for us while all other things we do on autopilot mode. So it is the brain of ours which stops us from doing things which sounds scary to us. So the solution to this is just stop thinking and start acting upon your plan.

Make sense? Ok let me elaborate. There is a rule called 5 second rule by Mel Robbin, which states that if you want to do something just start counting backwards 5,4,3,2......1 then boom start action. After counting till 5 move your body physically otherwise your brain will hijack you to do anything.
For instance:
1-You want to wake up early ,your alarm rings, just don't put the snooze on instead start counting backwards and one 1 move yourself physically and wake up of your bed.
2-There is a business meeting and you have an excellent idea to present but you think you have no confidence to speak in front of everybody, you voice would be shaky or your idea is not worthy....then just stop thinking and count till 5 backwards and then move your body and speak otherwise you would be so entangled by your own thoughts and fears to act upon it. This 5 second rule engages the prefrontal cortex (which is the front part of brain ) that is involved in the planning, problem solving, personality development. This rule gives you confidence, self esteem and bring you out of your self doubt of i can't instead make you stand up for yourself( in jobs or business) and for others by volunteering. Just act on this rule to change your bad habits and to build good routine for work.
