LIFE
We came into this world empty,
And so shall we return
This place we call home is only a brief tour
That will end in no time
Life is so short
And like a pencil, it gets shorter and shorter
Each day we go to sleep

Our graves take a step closer to us
As moments pass by
Time quickly passes away like the wind
Bear in mind folks,
The days we have to live on earth are numbered,
And just like the smoke one day we will disappear

Let’s not live our lives chasing after Pleasures while forgetting our Maker
Let’s not be deceived by our status, fame or wealth
Remember this life is temporal
We will leave everything we’ve gained
Behind in this world when our mission here is over

So why do we forget to prepare for our meeting with our lord?
Why the pride, ego and envy?
Why the greed and endless chase for Power?
We are dying of a quenchless thirst for our personal gains?
Why do we transgress our limits?

Is living life not more than just for us?
Let’s give back to humanity when we still have the time
Let’s invest in the hereafter; the life there is eternal

The purpose of life is to worship and serve
So let’s live every moment fully making up with our Maker
Let’s live for what will bring joy and love
For what will last forever when we are dead and gone
And whatever that will keep light in others lives;

It will soon be time and our journey shall come to an end;
When life’s over
And all that will matter is our deeds and how we lived
Then when we finally stand before our Lord
That’s when we will wish we’d done more act of kindness
Or could be given a second chance to amend our mistakes
But it will be too late to go back to yesterday.
