At the Heart of Flowers — Macrophotography
As spring advances, we have been thinking about what we're going to grow in our garden this year.
I like that we always mix in some colorful flowers!
Nature is magnificent. Do you ever take time to look at flowers, up and really close?
The center of a very delicate "paper poppy" we grew last summer.
The center almost looks like a fancy chocolate cake. Not sure what the flower is. Came from a package of mixed wildflower seeds.
The delicate folds of one of our roses. You can still see a few tiny dew drops.
The natural geometry of a giant sunflower.
A red poppy. You can see the actual grains of pollen caught in the afternoon sun.
Thanks for looking!
(All photos are mine, and all the flowers grew in our garden!)
