It is a great privilege to be with you all once again, this is the last week of this season's engagement challenge and I'm so delighted to be part of it. The challenge as well all know has been very amazing because a lot of suitable contest has been discussed so far. This week like every other week, we are looking at yet another interesting topic which is the past machine. I do hope you all will enjoy reading my article today. Have fun as you read through.

Here in this contest, I will be discussing the past based on a few questions highlighted below. Answering the questions will cover my intention for the past if given to opportunity to travel back to the past. Let's ride on and answer the various questions that matter.

This is indeed a very rear opportunity and I believe most people in life will want to have one chance in their lives to make things right. A lot of us have made a grievous mistake that if given a second chance we will want to go back and correct. This is common with almost everyone in the world today. I'm going to be discussing my part and where I wish to go back.

The place I wish to go back to if given the opportunity is my primary school days. One of the places that have affected me greatly is my primary school. When I was in primary school, I never took my studies serious for even a single day and for that reason it has affected my life till this time. I remember during that period if you carry the first position in the class, you will be sent abroad by the school to continue your studies since it is a missionary school.

Instead of me putting effort to come as the top in the class, I was only focused on playing. What I'm saying in essence, is that if only I was a bit more serious during my primary school days, I would have been in a better position today. A lot of my friends with whom we still communicate have gone a long way in their dreams today because they made good use of the opportunity at the right time. So changing my primary school period would have changed my life in totality.

If given the opportunity, I will like to travel to the year 2006. This is the exact year of my final class in primary school. During that period, if you can stand out in your final exams despite your previous poor performance, you will be enrolled on a scholarship and you will be given two different options. One of which is to study here in Nigeria and the other is to study outside the country.

Well, in my case I didn't make it this very year hence my sit mate who I'm so happy is currently running his PhD program now as we speak in the United States of America. Anytime he comes, home, he brings with him a lot of goodies and he will always remind me how the entire journey started. So this very year is the year that defines my destiny still at this moment. If I have the opportunity, I will go and re-write history in 2006.

During that period, I was always playing games and I don't feel any other thing is important at all. So if given the opportunity, instead of my regular playing of games, I will put effort into my studies and work very hard to ensure I join the top of my class and also stand the chance of winning a scholarship. This is the main thing I would love to change I.e my attitude of not studying my books.

I will change from playing video games and every form of playing that distracted me from my studies. I was only thinking that the world will continue to be rosy at all times because I had no worries at all. I feel I will always be provided with whatever I may need hence no need for stress but now I know better. So if given the opportunity I will want to rewrite this very aspect of my life.

Many of us would want to travel to the past just to make a few amendments to the things we have initially done that have kept us where we are today. Will be only very few that won't want to go back to the past because they lived more perfectly. In conclusion, I want to invite my friends to also participate in this wonderful contest.
