Thanks, to everyone who appreciates us for the unique development for steemians. Yes, we all know Discord provides us a better place to talk but lots of steemians don't have access there to find his/her favorite steemit user, so we are providing a global channel to talk, which is https://steemitchat.live Here everyone can come with its memo key and chat 1 to 1 it fully encrypted chat no one could read private chat. we have plans to make it a joyful chat portal.

We have 40+ users there on the chat portal, we are fetching with a memo key before login most dapps are available with a posting key login. but steemitchat is totally avoiding login with a private posting key.

What is memo key

The memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting private messages or memos sent between Steemit users.

The memo key specifically allows users to send private messages securely by encrypting the content with the recipient's public memo key. The recipient can then decrypt the message using their private memo key. This ensures that the content of the message remains confidential and only accessible to the intended recipient.

If you are login with your memo key you can't make comments or upvotes, or you can't edit your comment or post with this key this is the less risky key in the set of steem keys. that's why we are using this just for login,

Yes we want to integrate the steem-keychain with the chat portal but the keychain cant provide us the facility to log in with the private_memo key, if users are happy to login in to steemitchat with its private posting key so we can add it, Depend on you share your thoughts
