In Nigeria, everyone is allowed to drive a car, whether male or female as a learner you must identify yourself as a learner by putting a plate with the word learners boldly written on it, and you must not ride speed as a learner. However, there is little prejudice against female drivers in Nigeria as people believe female drivers are always learners who drive slowly and cannot think of a car like male drivers.
Another reason why there is a little prejudice against female drivers in Nigeria is that people believe female drivers are always learners, and they can't handle vehicles like male drivers, female drivers are usually afraid when they are on the highway driving. This is the reason why in Nigeria females aren't in the taxi business, because of the prejudice against female drivers.
Another reason why there is prejudice against female drivers in Nigeria is because female drivers can drive cars for long hours, like driving from one state to another, since they lack the experience of driving for long hours, besides this, it is few females in Nigeria that are interested in driving because of the stress and danger in driving.
Bad roads are also a contributing factor to why there is prejudice against female drivers in Nigeria. Bad roads can easily cause accidents and people believe it wouldn't be nice for females to be driving vehicles on bad roads since they lack confidence in driving. The truth is in Nigeria female drivers are not given the chance to show their driving skills when it comes to the use of public transport or commercial vehicles, but they are well respected when seen on the highway.

It true about the feelings that female drivers are less drivers than men. The points you highlighted are also very correct. But to me, I believe those are just mere feelings that women are weak and can't do some certain things. Over NTA newsline twice, they have shown two women who drive trucks, one for Dangote Group of Company. I understand they're just few of them, maybe I'll join soon.😜
