STEEMALLIANCE STEEMITBLOG REVIEW #1 : Steemit Update [ January 30th, 2022 ] : Community Curators for February

in Steem Alliancelast year

Hey there! I'm excited to announce that I'll be starting a new journey of reviewing blogs and content on Steemit. If you're unfamiliar with Steemit, it's a blockchain-based social media platform that rewards its users for creating and curating content. It's a great place to find all sorts of interesting posts, from travel experiences to cryptocurrency analysis.

As a blogger and content creator myself, I know how important it is to have your work recognized and appreciated. That's why I've decided to start this review series, where I'll be highlighting some of the best and most impactful posts on Steemit. My goal is to bring attention to the hidden gems of the platform and help promote the work of talented individuals.

So, whether you're a seasoned Steemit user or new to the platform, make sure to follow along as I take you on a journey through the world of Steemit content. I can't wait to share my thoughts and insights with you and hear your feedback in the comments. Let's get started!

It's exciting to hear that there were a strong field of candidates for this month's Community Curator program! With 64 people taking the time to submit an application, it's clear that the Steem community is passionate about supporting great content and contributing to its growth.

I particularly appreciate the approach the selection team has taken in curating the teams for February. By rotating some new curators in while still maintaining continuity and experience with others, the teams are able to expand their reach and bring a fresh perspective to the program. Seven members per team seems to be a great number, with a total of 49 community curators and 4 million SP across all teams.

I have to give a shoutout to all the members selected for February's teams! It's always a proud moment to be selected for a program like this and it's clear that all the individuals have demonstrated their commitment and passion for the Steem community. It's wonderful to see representation from a diverse range of countries, including Venezuela, Indonesia, Bangladesh, UK, Pakistan, Nigeria, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Cameroon, Russia, Philippines, India, Tunisia, and more.

It's also great to see that teams are encouraged to select a leader if they want and need to. Having clear leadership and communication within a team can be a valuable tool for making decisions and carrying out their mission effectively. And speaking of mission, the curation guidelines for Teams 1-5 allow for a free-ranging approach, without specific themes. This allows for greater flexibility and creativity in finding and supporting great content, whether it's within communities or directly on personal blogs. The continuation of voting on comments is also a great way to encourage and reward good conversation and engagement on Steem.

I especially appreciate the focus on encouraging and expanding contests and challenges on Steem. Contests are a fantastic way to drive participation, increase activity, and reward a wider range of content. It's great to see the Steem community investing in this initiative and providing resources to support it through the Team Millionaire and their 1 million SP account @steemcurator03.

Finally, I must express my excitement for the approaching month of curation as well as the enthusiasm and commitment of each and every curator chosen from the community. I have no doubt that their contributions will keep the Steem community thriving and growing while also rewarding excellent content. All the teams should have success, and here's to another amazing month of curating!
