Greetings lovers of macrophotography and nature. I'm here to share with you a third Macrophotography lesson for Beginners.

The topic that I bring up today is perhaps one of the main aspects that both artists and photographers use to generate beautiful shots that impact, attract attention and cause you to continue looking at them. It is about Composition and two of its allies the Center of Interest and Photographic Framing.

El tema que hoy traigo es quizás uno de los principales aspectos que utilizan tanto artistas como fotógrafos para generar hermosas tomas que impacten, atraigan la atención y provoque seguir mirándolas. Se trata de la Composición y dos de sus aliados el Centro de Interés y el Encuadre Fotográfico.

Composition is the way you organize and distribute elements within your image to create an effective visual narrative.

La composición es la forma en que organizas y distribuyes los elementos dentro de tu imagen para crear una narrativa visual efectiva.

Photographic composition is the ability to organize the elements of an image and create a harmonious, pleasing and attention-grabbing photograph. In macrophotography, in the same way as in the visual arts, composition is even more important, since the subjects and elements to be photographed are usually small and with many details.

La composición fotográfica es la habilidad para organizar los elementos de una imagen y crear una fotografía armoniosa, agradable y que atraiga la atención. En macrofotografía, de la misma manera que en las artes visuales, la composición es aún más importante, puesto que los sujetos y elementos a fotografiar, suelen ser pequeños y con muchos detalles.

Many times composition is synonymous with order, as it helps your attention be directed to the central points of the photo. In the example below there is not a good composition, the attention goes to many places.

Muchas veces composición es sinonimo de orden, pues ayuda a que tu atención se dirija a los puntos centrales de la foto. En el ejemplo más abajo no hay una buena composición, la atención se va a muchas partes.

It is the point or element of a photograph that attracts the observer's attention

It is one of the crucial elements of your photography. It is what captures the viewer's attention. In macro photography, it can be any detail that stands out in your subject. It is important to ensure that the center of interest is clearly defined and is the focal point of your image.

Es uno de los elementos cruciales de tu fotografía. Es lo que captura la atención del espectador. En macrofotografía, puede ser cualquier detalle que destaque en tu sujeto. Es importante asegurarte de que el centro de interés esté claramente definido y sea el punto focal de tu imagen.

Framing | Encuadre

Framing is selecting and deciding what is included and excluded from your photograph.

Encuadrar es seleccionar y decidir lo que se incluye y excluye de tu fotografía.

Framing refers to how you frame your subject within the frame of the image. In macro photography, you can experiment with different angles and perspectives to achieve unique compositions. You can get very close to your subject to capture the smallest details and use surrounding elements to frame it creatively.

El encuadre se refiere a cómo enmarcas tu sujeto dentro del marco de la imagen. En macrofotografía, puedes experimentar con diferentes ángulos y perspectivas para lograr composiciones únicas. Puedes acercarte mucho a tu sujeto para capturar los detalles más pequeños y utilizar elementos circundantes para enmarcarlo de manera creativa.
