Hello everyone,

This is the third week of steemit foods engagement challenge and this time we are asked to promote any super market that we like. I will also share my experience about the best supermarket I ever go. The super market rules say not to take photos due to security issues but I got the permission to take few photographs.

This is the super market that I plan to promote. This is an island wide supermarket that is famous in every city in the country. This is Cargills Super market Peradeniya Branch. The super market is situated in the Kandy - colombo main road. I will share the inside features with you. Taking photos is strictly prohibited here but I got the permission just to take a few photos and captured some clicks.

The reason that I selected this supermarket is it is in walking distance to my house. I always walks to the super market and buy things.

At the entrance of the super market the isle of toiletries can be seen. First you can see there is a section for baby items. You can see there is baby talc , baby body wash, baby shampoo and baby cream. Next to that section there is a small metal rack with baby snacks. There you can get the snacks, biscuits and cereals that a baby will eat.

The next isle is the biscuits section. Here we can find the snacks, biscuits, chocolates and other dessert items. The isle starts with "crisco" which is a famous biscuit brand in Srilanka. There are crisco tins, crisco jambo packets and crisco sachet packets from different taste varieties. The next two sections are allocated for "Manchee" biscuits which is also a famous brand name. They have two sections as one for sugary biscuits and one for sugar free biscuits.

Between the first and second pillars in the image you can see the chocolate section. The chocolate section is bit small so there you can get all varieties of chocolates. Cashew , raisins, white and also cooking chocolates can be brought here.

Continuing from the image above I continued walking along the next isle which starts with the washing powder section. We can get all washing powder brands like Diva, Surfexcel, sunlight washing powder brands. Then it is the soap section. I went near the best soap ever that I like. It's velvet soap. They have a good variety of fragrances and ingredients but I must say that with the inflation increase in our country the things are high in price day by day. This velvet soap was LKR 40 few days ago but now it is LKR 90.

You can guess the prices as 1 Steem= 121 LKR

In the same isle there is a section for body lotion and perfumes. There are body lotion and perfumes from different varieties of them. I selected "Vaseline Aloe vera" body lotion as it is my favourite body lotion and body treatment.

The next isle is the cool drinks section. There you can get all non alcoholic drinks. Soda, Ginger bear, Fanta, cream soda, coca cola, Sprite can be seen in this section. I wanted to buy my all time favourite "Cream Soda". I was surprised with the price. It was LKR 150 a week before and now it is LKR 260. This means it costs more than 2 steem to buy one liter. I found the prices of drinks are so high.

Then finally I went to the refrigerator section. Here as you can see there are no many items. There is an issue with the manufacturing in Srilanka due to the inflation in the country. People do not produce things. I could see fresh milk packets, little varieties of cheese, yoghurt and curd. But all were in little quantities. I didn't buy anything from that as the budget was not enough.

Finally, I went to bill my products. The most interesting factor that I love visiting the supermarket is here I have my next door friend in the cashier. I always bill from her and also talk with her before leaving the super market. As you can see there are some quick access products here in the super market they are placed near the cash counters. This is easy for customers. This super market provides a friendly service to me and the workers also help me when needed. "Ï highly recommend this super market for everyone."
