Hello to all my SteemFoods friends. How are you doing? I hope all are in good health always specially this time that pandemic still challenged us.

As a mother I'm trying to provide a healthy foods in our table, "health is wealth". Now, let me share to you my foods that i prepare today. Actually, these are the recipe that I usually prepare for my family.

BREAKFAST

Since, I had more leftover fried fish last night, so I made a escabeche dish for this morning as our breakfast dish. Escabeche is our favorite dish.

Let me share to you a bit how I cooked my healthy escabeche. In a pan put 2 cup of water, then allow it to boil. Then add the chopped garlic, followed by ginger and carrots. Let it boil for around 2 minutes, then add the red pepper. Then, add the pineapple chunks, add also 3 spoon of vinegar, salt, sugar and seasoning. Let it boil for 1 minute, then check your desired taste. Then, add the fried fish and followed by the dissolved cornstarch and let it boil for 1 to 2 minutes. And it's done.

I never waste if I still have extra dish. So in my lunch I still eat my escabeche leftovers and I still loved it.

AFTERNOON SNACKS

Every Sunday afternoon at 4pm we attended holy mass in the church. So, before we going to church, I prepared our favorite snacks the hotcake. We are craving for this lately so it's time to cooked my yummy homemade hotcakes. Then, we ate our snacks before leaving the house, in that way my kids no longer ask to buy food snacks outside. It's a good advantage in my budget.

DINNER

Around 5:30pm the mass ended, then we dropped by the fish market to buy fish for our dinner. I feel lucky because I find this fresh Balo or a needle fish, which is best for fish soup dish. So I buy 1 kilo at P 240.00 or $4.8. I also bought a lokot a seafood which is best add on the fish soup. It's so yummy!

It's a full filling day for me to prepare these nutritious and delicious foods in our table.
