Steemfoods contest -8-| Promote My Favorite Greengrocer! | Fruit and vegetable in the Ly Thuong Kiet local market
Hi everyone,
In my previous post, I introducted you about my local market with lots of dried foods. Today, I am very glad to show you another local market where sells many fresh vegetables and fruits.
This local market is established 30 years ago. At the first time, there was only some farmers selling their agricultural products from their garden. Day by day, there was more seller and a local market has set up as a result. I like this market because of its convenient and cheap price.
Location:
There are many fruit shops at the entrance of the local market such as pomelo, banana, orange, mango, watermelon, and apple shop.
Fruits here include local and imported ones.
I want to give you some information about a special banana that is called "chuoi ngu" in vietnamese. "Chuoi ngu" has had a origin from long ago. This was a gift to offer ancient Kings thousands years ago. This special banana is very small but delicious. Until now, "chuoi ngu" still keeps its value and become a national gift of expatriate Vietnamese. Its price is from $0.4 to $1.2 for a hand of banana.
Fruit | Price (kg) |
---|---|
Orange | $0.4 |
Apple | $1 - $2.5 |
Grape | $2.5 - $5 |
Watermelon | $0.3 |
Mango | $0.6 - $2 |
In the center of the market is green vegetable areas. There are lots of vegetable such as tomato, bittermelom, carrot, cabbage, squash, and cucumber.
That is some fruits and vegetables selling in my local market. I am very curious to see your green grocery.
Thank you for reading my post and hope you know more my local market
#steemfoods-greengrocer, #steem-exclusive, #vn, #steemfoodscontest,
Hi :
Your participation in the contest that I organized with the # steemfoods-greengrocer tag has been successfully approved. Can you add the name of this market first to your post? What name is this market known by where you live? Thanks for sharing the promotion of your local market in the SteemFoods Community. I guess you didn't shop at the local market today? You haven't added any information about the fruits and vegetables you purchased in your post. I have added this post to the "Best SteemFoods Posts of the Day" on 27.11.2020.
@alikoc07: thank you for your suggestion. I added the name of the local market at the title and the frist image. Yesterday, I have only bought a hand of green banana for today that is the midday of the month in my calendar . We have a custom to burn our ancestors on this day. However, the seller I bought did not want to take a photo. When I came back home, I put that banana on the altar of ancestor, so I also did not want to take its photo. That's why I didn't have things I bought in my post. Thank you for adding my post to "the best posts of the day".
Best wishes to you!
Very impressive. I have not seen products like these for a long time, in that abundance.
I can also see they do something with the bananas, sliced banana flower, the first time I see it. Is it used for eating or cooking?
Thank you very much for sharing: D
