Recipe || Making "Steamed Flapjack" || My Favorite Meal Celebration

Today I will discuss about my favorite meal celebration & how to make the flapjack. The recipe is well-known as "Bhapa Pitha" in our country. Probably it is known to different names at different places. But English name may be called as "Steamed Flapjack". As a meal in winter season it is very familiar to all of Bangladeshi. Anyway, let's see how to make it.
Ingredients
- Rice Flour
- Date Molasses
- Coconut
- Salt
- Water
In case of one kg rice flour, we 500 gm date molasses, 2 pieces coconuts, 3 tea spoons salt & 500 ml water.

- First step is to mix salt & water with rice flour. Then move it by hand for some time.

- In this step we need a little lid. Then put rice flour in the lid. Then put date molasses & coconut powder.

- Then put rice flour again top of molasses.

- Then boil for a while with water in a pot. Then put the lid that is arranged in it here. Then place another large lid on top and wait 5 minutes.

- Now it is suitable for eating. You may start your celebration now.
