Pulled Pork Sandwich
I am really excited to share with you this amazing recipe.
Meat:
- 1kg pork neck
- 50 g of olive oil
- 150 g of tomato juice
- 1 spoon of smocked paprika
- 2 spoons of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1 small onion
- 5 cloves of garlic
- salt and pepper.
Sandwich:
- the pulled pork
- red cabbage
- pickles
- buns
- ketchup
- mustard
- whatever ingredients you like in a sandwich
Wash the pork and wipe it.
In a bowl mix the olive oil, tomato juice, Dijon mustard, spices, minced garlic and chopped onion,
Put the pork in a tray and pour all the dressing over the meat.
Cover the tray with a lid and put it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 3.5 hours.
After the 3.5 hours take the lid off and let in the oven for another 30 minutes to allow the meat to catch a nice crust.
Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 15 min. It will absorb all the liquids and it will be super juicy.
After the meat had rested place it in another tray and chop it with a fork. Effortless, because it is very tender. If you want you can put some of the sauce over the chopped meat.
Note: Of course you can put whatever you like in it.
- I cut the buns, put some mustard, pulled pork, chopped red cabbage, pickles and ketchup.
Extra: You can also make with this pulled pork amazing burgers adding some ceddar, tomatoes, onions, bacon and burger sauce.
