Hello steem foodies!!

After the long days without electricity I haven't really cooked a proper food at home since I couldn't store food. But now I am so happy to be able to cook at home. But as a mom it is very important also to budget the food and as much as possible never throw left over food.

So today I will be sharing a recipe I just came up with from our left over hotdogs from yesterdays breakfast. As a mom it hurts me everytime my kids couldn't finish the food that I prepare. So most of the time I keep the left over and just cook it into something new.

Let's Cook Sauteed Vegetable

Ingredients

Left over food (hotdog, pork, chicken, any meat will do)
Chopped Cabbage
Sliced beans
Onion
Soy sauce/ oyster sauce

Procedure

  • Start by putting oil to your pan. Once it is ready pour oil and saute your onion.

  • Right after put ypur hotdogs or left over meat. You can shred the chicken or chop the pork in bite size.

  • Put in your beans, actually you can use other vegetable, if you have carrots or potato at home you can use it. Wait for the vegetable to be cooked. In my case I prefer it half cooked

  • Then its time to put the cabbage, I usually put the cabbage in the last part because I like my cabbage crisp, so you may let it stay longer or just have it half cooked.

  • Finally you may now add soy sauce or oyster sauce. If you want to put pepper you may. Serve hot and share.

Cooking is an experiment, at times you have to explore on your taste buds. You can try different recipe from the cook book or just let your heart lead you to try something new. Hoping to hear from your cooking experiment.
