from pair of griffons to pu-er
These six images are pretty different, can you guess what's the connection between all of them? Its my submission to @qurator 's Monday Missions; this week prompt was: "Letter P". Check the rules here and do join the fun!
a PAIR of Griffons
one of iconic places at St.Petersburg, everyone comes here to take a pic (or dozen pics). So did I... but mostly, I was shooting the picture-takers, some kind of perverted fun!
the pink PERIWIG
I shoot this splendid item at the New Year Gifts Exhibition, the periwig was accompanied with supercool decorated pink gloves, that easily could fit this post, too.
POLUSHKA
"Polushka" in Russian means 'half a penny', it was the smallest coin that existed, a copper coin. Now... it does cost comething, especially if an actual copy is in decent condition. My copy isnt that great, doesn t valued alot, though it dates back to year 1735!
POFIGIN forte - a magical remedy!
This one is pure fun: its a joke item, a practical joke, I don’t know how to put it more precisely, but it’s definitely not something fake or placebo. There is no such a thing like "Pofigin", it does not exist; however, semantically this word expresses the meaning of "a substance that increases your I-dont-care-anyway-attitude". This packaging of chewing gum (and theres a real chewing gum inside ... usual one!) is positioned as a cool remedy - a powerful dietary supplement ... improving and normalizing your attitude to life. Only joking!
PORRIDGE with blueberries
Porridge can be a very, very dull thing... but not in this case! This special blueberry edition came from the Ladoga skerries, and it was super delicious.
photoshopped PIGEON
This one is simple: a pigeon, treated with some Photoshop... I think no more comments are needed. Easily could go to any TrippyThirsday post :P
PINE cones
I bet you dont see them as green and fresh, as this. We gathered these (again) at Ladoga skerries at the highest island there, and made some jam out of them!
PU-ER tea package
I like pu-er tea, especially some specific sorts of this tea (there are many and they quite differ!). This one had distinctive flavour and taste of nuts and soil. One day I will share with you a nice and useful recipe of pu-er made with milk.

Interesting P exhibition 😉 your local products and packaging made me remember I can read your alphabet and can also speak some russian...😃 I have learnt this language during 3 years at school, this is a beautiful language 😉
