All the charm of a mono lens

Developers of modern lenses seek to negate the effect of chromatic oberrations and geometric distortions. Mono lens consists of only one glass. There is no correction of the lens block. The case when Monocle aberrations give a useful effect.

Yesterday I completed the second version of the monocle lens. The first had a focal length of approximately 85 mm. For a new monocle, this value is approximately 50 mm. Now you need to find a lens with a wide angle. I don’t have one.

Разработчики современных объективов стремятся свести на нет эффект хроматических обераций и геометрических искажений. Моно объектив состоит всего лишь из одного стекла. Здесь нет никакой коррекции линзоблока. Тот редкий случай, когда аберрации Монокля дают положительный эффект.

Вчера я доделал второй вариант объектива монокль. Первый имел фокусное расстояние примерно 85 мм. У нового монокля это значени примерно 50 мм. Теперь надо найти линзу с широким углом. У меня такой нет.

Вчера же провёл первые полевые испытания. Мы отправились в Курорт Сестрорецка. Там есть залив.
