"Nagging in a Relationship!"
Happy Sunday friends!
I welcome you all to my blog. I will be making my contribution known as presented by @ninapenda on a topic titled "dealing with nagging in a relationship ".
🔻How do you deal with nagging in a relationship? |
---|
No one would want a nagging partner no matter how tolerant he or she may be. Even when this might be tolerated at earlier stages of the relationship, it is only a matter of time before it goes south. We have to be intentional about handling these acts no matter how they strike us on our faces.
One way we can handle this is to be good listeners. Any good listener should be able to pay attention to details and pick up some of the grey areas that are been complained about. Grabbing some of this pitfall as flagged by the other partner would help correct some of the concerns raised.
Not stopping at being a good listener, we should be able to make corrections if appropriate. Being a good listener should come with taking action tailored towards reversing those raised concerns. Remember that if we are all doing what is good, there won't be room for nagging and complaints.
Having an open communication system is ideal in all of this. Let us also remember that the act of complaining or nagging is another way of communication but this is not ideal for us. A proper communication system where both partners have an understanding of what turns them off and on should be tabled.
These listed points above are some of my views on handling nagging in a relationship.
🔻Do you agree that nagging comes only from women and not from men? Or from both? |
---|
Just as eating is for both genders, so is nagging. It does not select or align to any gender at all but instead could be found frequently from a given gender. The women in this case are known to be good at this not because they chose to but because of how they are positioned to handle issues correctly and emotionally driven.
Some of the things we find the women nagging may not be far from the truth. Some of these may be connected to chores and other home responsibilities that they are exclusively in charge of and their gender counterparts lacking in them.
🔻 Does nagging and complaining mean the same thing? Explain |
---|
Though they seem. to have the same mean there is this thin line that separates both of them. Our inability to identify this line makes the difference and the right use of it. The word other. May find ourselves using them wrongly.
While complaining means an act of expressing our displeasure when others offend us, nagging means the frequency of these complaints.
Therefore, nagging may mean an advanced state of complaining. A situation where there is a repetition of complaints could be called nagging.
🔻Do you think building a better communication skill in a relationship can help stop nagging? |
---|
This is one of my reviews for controlling, ameliorating, and taming nagging. It is one solution everyone needs to adopt. Having an open communication with your partner is one bestcway to curb nagging.
Doing this allows partners to err their grievances and unbottle all that bothers them. Corrections are taken and most limitations adverted. This happens to be the beat approach.
