The diary game for 25/12/2023: Merry Christmas steemians

Christmas is here, Merry Merry Merry Christmas
Today has been wonderful for me, from the moment, I woke up till that I am writing this diary post, I'm been Happy non-stop, and I'm happy I can share my happiness with you all😊.

MORNING SECTION

I woke up around 7am this morning, and my neighbor was already playing Christmas songs on repeat, and not long after I was already hearing the cry of a chicken fighting for it's life. I quickly went to the bathroom and took my bath early, cause I knew once we start cooking, before I might bath again, it would be in the evening.

My dad took it up on himself to go to the market, he spent hours there, and eventually came back with ingredients for stew, as we already had a bag of rice. He got Chicken as well. We started cooking around, 12pm but ended up eating by 3pm, truly tomatoes takes time to cook, I shared the meal for everyone and we all ate with plastic minerals.

I really enjoyed my food oo, after the long wait, I ate to my fullest.

GOING OUT

After eating, I had fruit salad to step down the food, then after I went out to take in some fresh air, that was when I saw my neighbor's children already prepared to go out, they were all dressed in their Christmas attire, with their glasses and Christmas hat, I couldn't help but snapped them, it reminded me of the olden days, this outfit was trending, not now that things are different.

Me too couldn't afford to be left out, so I decided to go to my aunt place too, cause she even called us earlier to come over.

GOODNEWS

My brother drove us to my aunt place, when I got there, she also cooked rice and stew, so I grabbed my own plate of it as well. Still in the spirit of enjoyment, I decided to check my steemit account and to my greatest surprise, I was nominated as one of the winners of an engagement challenge, I was so filed with joy, but thr joy didn't end there I was equally surprised when my sister was interested in joining Steemit immediately, someone that said it was a waste of her time. I was happy to help her create an account @ekemini01, and she made her first achievement post.

Christmas couldn't have been celebrated any better than this, I'm grateful to God for this day, and I love forward to the new Year as well. Thanks for going through my post, how was Christmas in your side?.
