The concept love can be seen and understood from different aspects and perspectives. In a more general way, love is a strong feeling of affection that keeps people connected, committed and bonded to one another or each other.

Love can be in different forms such as eros love (physical love centered on sexual desires), philia love (love built around deep friendship), and agape love (an altruistic love which desires good for all) among many others.

Money can seen as a measure of value and a general and accepted medium of economic exchange.

Is there any relationship between the two concepts (Love & Money) in a relationship

I would say yes!
Love and money can be related to an ambition and a means to achieve those ambitions. You can have an ambition without a means to achieve them or the means can also be there but no ambition in place. In either case, one can exist without the other but the existence and combination of both brings about a state of betterment.
So yes, they are related as they compliment each other.

Can true love exist or thrive for a long time without money.

The length or duration here depends on those involved in the relationship and what kind of love they share. Yes, love can thrive without money in the parents-children relationship but I can't confidently say same for two different individuals who are in love with each other.

For the latter, love can surely thrive without money, but for it to thrive for a long time, the individuals involved must be intentional and prepared for all that might come up.

I think there's love, true and genuine without money. Still on that, I also think the love is better experience, enjoyed and shared when there's money involved.

As the music line goes; love is sweet oo, when money enter love is sweeter. Love is an independent term and so is money, the existence of true love doesn't depend on money and the availability of money doesn't depend on love but the combination of both makes a good union.

"No love, no money."
Though the above statement might strongly stand for some, for me, it doesn't as clearly stated above. Money with love is good but the two terms are not mutually exclusive and this opinion is drawn from several experience I've seen, heard and had.

One of these experience was between a friend of mine and her then boyfriend who is now her husband. They were in a relationship which was lacking on the finance aspect. They shared a true and mutual love and worked hard daily towards making their life and relationship strong.
Being their close friend, I saw they struggle right from the scratch with nothing but their love, understand, ambitions and hardwork. After several years of persistently toiling together, they were blessed financial, got married and are living comfortably with their two kids.

With this and so many other experiences and situations I've known, I strongly think true love can exist without money but it becomes sweeter, better and stronger with money in it.
