Ahhhh the year is running to an end, but as a diligent watch man, my work has not ended. I must keep watching and reporting. @basil20, @darr22, @vudeme123 hope your watching and reporting too.

here's the report from my hood for the week.
So the weather has been...
Very chilly in the early hours of the morning and very hot during the day. The skies has been just a plain sea of grey. No clouds at all.
As a testimony to the dry season, the roads are dry and all the puddles and stagnant waters left during the rainy season is gone and everything is covered in dust. Plants are not left out as their leaves wither and litter the environment.

The children are backs, travellers are heading home, students are settled, workers are heading home......the hood is lively, and the aroma of a good meals fills the air. Well, all thanks to Christmas.
"Tis the season to be happy" and "We wish you a merry Xmas songs" seems to be the rhyme in every sounding speaker, bars and clubs are also getting more lively.
Festivity is at its peak, celebrations ranging from the masquerade's festivals to church celebration is now a frequent sight. Peals of loud laughter is now heard frequently as most people are visiting and getting visited.

The economic situation of the neighborhood is still same, but it's Christmas and as if everyone is being compelled by the season, the complaints about the difficulty of things has greatly reduced.

Children are looking smart especially, as they are flaunt their new clothes popularly called Christmas clothes. The adults are not left out as they do whatever they can to the this period a memorable one.
Gboom gboom!!!! These sounds are heard intermittently, and I just know the hood kids are not taking it easy with knockouts and fireworks.
Though expensive, it litters my hood. Those who cannot afford the expensive ones, decides to blow our ears with Carbide explosives, @basil20 can relate. Funny enough, no one is complaining, well that's the Christmas spirit.

In general the hood is lively, dusty, filled with laughter and appetizing aroma.

You've watched closely, dust has replaced muddy water in some areas, harmattan season has set in, families are uniting, fun and celebration everywhere.

Sure brother I'm so watching my neighborhood closely, noticing all changes and it's effect on it.
From your content, on exploring the weather conditions, it's definitely affect some lifes like the plants, the animals and the environment too.
The reunion by family and friends and the explosion of carbides are one different atmosphere experience only on this season.
