Drilling through the heart even unto the bone marrows, causing wounds and fatalities sometimes worse than death. It leaves the victim regretting his own existence and causes solitude. What could be more dangerous than an - Unbridled Tongue.

Our tongue is one of the organs of our body. It is that organ that aids speech, without the tongue talking would be impossible. Funny enough, the words the tongue spew out can't be taken back no matter how one tries. The tongue can also be used as a judge of one's character and state of mind.

The tongue unlike other body parts is Soft and without any bone yet it is stronger than the fist of a professional wrestler. The tongue too can be more soothing than the most expensive balm. It all boils down to how it is being used.

The tongue can be deadly or pleasant depending on it use;

Wise use of the tongue is like water to a parched throat, it soothes, it heals, it encourages, it builds like a conscientious mason, like a light bulb on a dark alley, it guides, it opens the mind to wisdom and is truthful. Like a shield it protects it user and those it reaches out to.

But a foolish and undiscerning tongue is like a lethal poison it kills and injures fatally and like a heavy breeze to a feeble candle light, puts apart, confuses and leads to darkness. Like a blind guide, it confuses, discourages and causes stumbling.

Many relationships that would have been perfect has been dissolved today, because of an unwise use of the tongue, Many has lost their spouses because of an unbridled tongue, friendships are set on fire because of a wayward tongue.

A wise tongue on the other hand finds favour, and can rescue even one on a verge of death. Friendship and connections are built from the wise tongue. A wise tongue shows wisdom and promotes the user.

• Build up relationships and homes
• Says the truth
• Brings unity and peace

However, an unwise tongue can be groomed through constant practice can become wise.

Seeking help and thinking twice about what one wants to say is also very helpful.

Words and speech are also affected by one's friends/partner. Hence, what tongue does your friend posses? If it's toxic, then it will be no surprise if your once wise tongue grows toxic.
